A tree ablaze with golden leaves; a perfect autumn. The Parents’ Committee meeting on school meal supervision for the new academic year was held as scheduled, with parents and the school working together to actively serve as a bridge for communication and to fulfil their supervisory and monitoring roles.
学校和合汇负责人陈老师温暖开场，从“初见”到“同心”，我们携手并肩，连接的是家校信任，守护的是孩子成长。膳监委成员经由家长自愿报名、年级推荐、校级遴选层层产生，实现年级均衡、结构合理、代表广泛。
Mr. Chen, head of the He Parents Association, delivered a warm opening address. From our ‘first meeting’ to ‘working in unison’, we have stood shoulder to shoulder, fostering trust between home and school and safeguarding our children’s development. Members of the School Meals Supervisory Committee are selected through a multi-stage process comprising voluntary applications from parents, recommendations from year groups and school-level selection, ensuring a balanced representation across year groups, a reasonable structure and broad representation.
总务处负责人殷老师从食堂运行监督管理概况介绍到膳食监督家长委员会工作方案的解读，对组织定位、核心职责、议事流程与履职规范，让家长从“看见”到“参与”,从”了解“到”信任“，清晰界定履职边界，确立监督工作原则，确保膳食监督工作规范、有序、高效开展。
Mr. Yin, Head of the General Affairs Office, provided an overview of the supervision and management of the canteen’s operations and explained the work plan for the He Parents Association on Meal Supervision. Covering the committee’s organisational positioning, core responsibilities, decision-making procedures and standards of conduct, the presentation aimed to guide parents from ‘observing’ to ‘participating’ and from ‘understanding’ to ‘trusting’. It clearly defined the scope of the committee’s responsibilities and established the principles governing its supervisory work, thereby ensuring that meal supervision is carried out in a standardised, orderly and efficient manner.

At the meeting, Principal Ms. Wendy Yu presented letters of appointment to each member of the School Meals Supervisory Committee in turn. A letter of appointment embodies both trust and responsibility; to be entrusted with such a role is a mark of recognition, and indeed a source of joy. We look forward to all members of the School Meals Supervisory Committee working in harmony with the school to forge a warm path of shared home-school education.
膳监委成员现场签订《履职承诺书》，代表发言将切实履行监督职责，期待家校协力同心，发挥纽带作用，持续优化提升膳食管理与服务品质，把每一餐都做成”安全餐”“营养餐”“暖心餐”，让师生吃得安心、家长放心。
Members of the School Meals Supervisory Committee signed the ‘Commitment to Duties’ on the spot. A spokesperson pledged to fulfil their supervisory responsibilities effectively and expressed the hope that the school and parents would work together in unison, acting as a bridge between them, to continuously optimise and improve the quality of meals management and service, ensuring that every meal is ‘safe’, ‘nutritious’ and ‘heart-warming’, so that pupils and staff can eat with confidence and parents can have peace of mind.
会后在分管副校长鲍广泉的陪同下，膳监委成员走进餐厅、深入后厨，实地查看食堂环境、食材存储、清洗切配、食品加工流程，细致了解校园食品安全管理细节，筑牢校园食安屏障。
Following the meeting, accompanied by Vice-Principal Ms. Amy Bao, who is responsible for this area, members of the School Meals Supervisory Committee visited the canteen and went behind the scenes into the kitchen to inspect the canteen environment, food storage, washing, chopping and preparation, and food processing procedures. They gained a detailed understanding of the specifics of campus food safety management, thereby strengthening the safeguards for food safety on campus.
下一步，学校将持续完善膳食监督机制，用心做实事，用心做膳“食”。以最严标准守安全，以最诚姿态纳监督，以最细匠心做膳食，让每一份餐食都有温度，让每一份信任都有回响，守护学生健康成长。
Moving forward, the school will continue to refine its food service oversight mechanisms, taking a practical and dedicated approach to both its work and the meals it provides. We will uphold the strictest safety standards, welcome scrutiny with the utmost sincerity, and prepare meals with the finest attention to detail—ensuring that every meal is served with care, that every expression of trust is reciprocated, and safeguarding the healthy development of our pupils.
