Hello everyone, I’m Jianhe Zheng from P6.
世界辽阔，成长始于好奇、成于坚守，是向下扎根、向远展翅的旅程。在合肥市包河区协和双语学校“中西融合”的沃土上，多元包容的氛围夯实我求知的根基，点亮我奔赴世界的梦想。课堂上，我常怀热忱，勤于追问、独立思辨；课堂外，运动磨砺我直面得失的韧劲，声乐滋养我感知美好、真诚共情的力量。我明白，成长没有终点。真正的优秀，不止于一时的成果，更在于坚韧的内心、开阔的眼界和永不止步的探索。感恩协和给予的广阔平台，让我积蓄力量、逐光而行。很高兴和大家分享我的成长之路。
The world is vast; growth begins with curiosity and is realised through perseverance—it is a journey of putting down deep roots whilst spreading one’s wings to soar far. On the fertile ground of ‘East Meets West’ at SUIS Hefei Campus, the diverse and inclusive atmosphere has strengthened the foundations of my thirst for knowledge and ignited my dream of exploring the world. In the classroom, I am always enthusiastic, eager to ask questions and think independently; outside the classroom, sport hones my resilience in facing both success and failure, whilst vocal music nurtures my ability to appreciate beauty and empathise sincerely. I realise that growth has no endpoint. True excellence lies not merely in momentary achievements, but in an indomitable spirit, a broad perspective and a ceaseless quest for discovery. 在我心中，合肥协和双语学校，是一所温暖包容、自由生长、多元精彩的校园。这里没有枯燥单一的学习模式，没有刻板固化的课堂节奏，依靠有趣的课程、丰富的社团与认真负责的老师，让每一个孩子都能找到热爱、看见闪光、慢慢成长。
In my view, SUIS Hefei Campus is a warm and inclusive school where pupils can grow freely and experience a rich and diverse range of activities. Here, there are no dull, one-dimensional learning models or rigid, formulaic classroom routines. Through engaging lessons, a wide range of clubs and societies, and dedicated, responsible teachers, every child is able to discover their passions, recognise their strengths and grow at their own pace.
协和的课堂生动鲜活、充满温度。英语教学特色鲜明，中外教协同授课，课堂活泼轻松，告别传统学习的枯燥。外教严谨负责，帮助我们夯实英语能力、拓宽国际视野；中教耐心热忱，无论多忙碌，都会及时解答同学们的疑问，鼓励大家大胆举手、积极发言，给予每位同学展示自我的机会。在这样的课堂熏陶下，我不断突破自我，斩获“希望之星”英语风采大赛省赛一等奖，获得国际英文拼词大会小学初级组二等奖，在语言学习路上稳步前行。
Classes at SUIS-HF are lively, engaging and warm. The English teaching programme has a distinctive character, with Chinese and foreign teachers co-teaching in a lively and relaxed atmosphere that breaks away from the tedium of traditional learning. The foreign teachers are rigorous and dedicated, helping us to consolidate our English skills and broaden our international horizons; the Chinese teachers are patient and enthusiastic—no matter how busy they are, they always answer our questions promptly, encourage us to raise our hands boldly and speak up actively, and give every pupil the opportunity to express themselves. Nurtured by this classroom environment, I have continually pushed my own boundaries, winning first prize in the provincial round of the Star of Outlook Talent Competition and second prize in the primary school junior category of the SPBCN, whilst making steady progress on my language learning journey.
不止英语，学校的思维课程同样出彩。数学思维、英语写作等特色课程，锻炼我们的逻辑思辨与创作能力，让学习跳出课本局限。在学校的培养下，我积极参与各类数理竞赛，取得袋鼠数学挑战赛全国银、铜奖、澳洲数学竞赛荣誉证书，还拿下校内“协和杯”少年思创争霸赛满分奖，在思考探索中收获成长。
It is not just English; the school’s critical thinking programme is equally outstanding. Specialised courses such as mathematical reasoning and English composition hone our logical reasoning and creative writing skills, enabling us to learn beyond the confines of the textbook. Under the school’s guidance, I have actively participated in various maths and science competitions, winning national silver and bronze medals in the Math Kangaroo, a certificate of honour in the AMC, and a full marks award in the school’s ‘SUIS-HF Cup’ Youth Critical Thinking and Innovation Competition, growing through reflection and exploration.
我十分喜爱学校丰富多彩的课内兴趣选修课。缝纫工作室、本草园艺、创意实践等课程趣味十足。在这里，没有不爱学习的孩子，只有适合每个人的成长方式。书本知识化为实践体验，被动学习变为主动热爱，同学们可以在兴趣中发掘属于自己的闪光点。
I absolutely love the school’s wide range of CCA. Co-Curricular Activities such as the sewing workshop, herbal gardening and creative practice are all great fun. Here, there are no children who do not enjoy learning; there is simply a way of learning that suits everyone. Theoretical knowledge is transformed into practical experience, and passive learning becomes active enthusiasm; pupils can discover their own unique strengths through their interests.
协和注重德智体美劳全面发展。体育教学不只局限跑步、跳绳等基础运动，还融合中外特色，开设乒乓球、羽毛球、篮球、足球等球类拓展课程。多样的体育活动强健体魄、磨炼意志，教会我们坚持与协作。
SUIS-HF places great emphasis on the all-round development of character, intellect, physical fitness, aesthetics and work ethic. Physical education is not limited to basic activities such as running and skipping; it also incorporates elements from both Chinese and international traditions, offering a range of ball sports such as table tennis, badminton, basketball and football. These diverse sporting activities build physical strength, strengthen resolve and teach us the importance of perseverance and teamwork.

Artistic Development: Passed Level B in Music Theory at the Shanghai Conservatoire of Music (with a ‘Good’ grade) and Level 5 in Children’s Singing; won first prize in the Anhui regional round of the Hong Kong International Vocal Competition.

The teachers at SUIS-HF are dedicated to nurturing their pupils, with carefully crafted curricula and thoughtfully organised activities. 于赫赫而言，成长是向内沉淀，亦是向外舒展。课堂之上，他善思好问，于数理逻辑间求索思辨，诸多竞赛荣誉，皆是厚积薄发的回响。For Hehe, growing up is a process of both inward reflection and outward expansion. In the classroom, he is a thoughtful and inquisitive student, exploring and analysing mathematical and logical concepts; his numerous competition honours are a testament to the fruits of his long-term dedication and hard work.走出教室，他又兼具少年的风雅与果敢。科创赛场潜心钻研，声乐舞台放声抒怀，在理性与诗意之间自在游走。
Outside the classroom, he embodies both the refinement and boldness of youth. He immerses himself in research at science and technology competitions and sings his heart out on the vocal stage, moving effortlessly between rationality and poetry.
他不困于既有成绩，待人谦和有度，保有一份纯粹的求知热忱。在协和包容的环境里，他扎根学识，丰盈心性，于动静之间，活成少年该有的模样。
He does not rest on his laurels; he treats others with humility and tact, whilst retaining a genuine passion for learning. Within Peking Union Medical College’s inclusive environment, he has deepened his knowledge and enriched his character, living his life—whether in action or in stillness—in a manner befitting a young man.

English Teacher, Ms. Huang
郑建赫同学学习态度踏实自律，在英语课堂上专注投入，善于思考提问，乐于主动拓展阅读与表达。他做事有责任心，愿意分享思路、帮助同伴。面对学习难点，他不轻言放弃，持续复盘改进，稳步实现自我突破。兼具扎实学力与良好品格，是一名具有思辨力的协和优秀学子！
Jianhe Zheng demonstrates a diligent and self-disciplined approach to his studies. In English lessons, he is focused and engaged, thinks critically and asks thoughtful questions, and is keen to expand his reading and communication skills of his own accord. He is responsible in his work and is willing to share his ideas and help his peers. When faced with academic challenges, he does not give up easily; instead, he continuously reflects on his progress and makes improvements, steadily achieving personal breakthroughs. In Mr. Chen’s eyes, you are a highly gifted and bright student. In class, you think on your feet; not only do you quickly grasp the essence of mathematical concepts, but you are also able to apply what you have learnt to new situations. When faced with difficult problems, you never shy away from a challenge; instead, you tackle them head-on, solving them one by one with rigorous logic and ingenious methods.
