秋风有信，新程启航。为帮助一年级新生平稳适应小学生活，搭建高效、温暖的家校共育桥梁，我校于9月4日下午在缪斯剧院顺利召开一年级新生家长会。这场双向奔赴的初次“育”见，为孩子们全新的校园成长之路，从“一”温柔启幕。

With the arrival of the autumn breeze, a new journey begins. To help P1 pupils adapt smoothly to primary school life and to build an effective and supportive bridge for home-school collaboration, our school successfully held a parents’ evening for P1 parents at the Muse Theatre on the afternoon of 4th September. This first ‘educational’ encounter, marked by mutual commitment, gently ushered in the children’s new journey of growth at school, starting from the very beginning.

本次家长会氛围温情、流程有序。活动伊始，主持人以“您认为教育是什么？”为暖心设问，引发全体家长深度思考，引导大家回归育人初心，为整场家校对话奠定真诚、深刻的基调。

The atmosphere at this parents’ evening was warm and welcoming, and the proceedings were well-organised. At the start of the event, the host posed a heartfelt question: ‘What do you think education is?’, prompting all parents to reflect deeply and guiding them to return to the fundamental purpose of education, thereby setting a sincere and meaningful tone for the entire dialogue between home and school.

深思过后，冯老师带来精彩的开场舞蹈。灵动舒展的舞姿，尽显教师朝气蓬勃的风貌，瞬间活跃现场氛围，正式拉开本次家长会的帷幕。

After some careful consideration, Mr. Feng treated us to a splendid opening dance. His graceful and fluid movements perfectly captured the teacher’s youthful vigour, instantly enlivening the atmosphere and officially kicking off the parents’ evening.

 

随后，一年级全体教师团队整齐亮相。老师们精神饱满、温情致意，与家长们正式见面。专业的师资队伍、温暖的育人姿态，让家长对孩子的小学新生活充满安心与期待。

Next, the entire P1 teaching team took to the stage in unison. Full of energy and offering warm greetings, the teachers formally introduced themselves to the parents. The professional teaching staff and their warm, nurturing approach filled the parents with a sense of reassurance and anticipation for their children’s new life at primary school.

 

 

会上，喻霞校长发表致辞，结合低段学生身心成长特点，为家长精准点明家庭教育的四大核心角色：做孩子成长的“脚手架”、情绪的“稳压器”、专注度的保护者、家校沟通的构建者。言语恳切、干货满满，有效缓解了家长的入学焦虑，清晰指引了幼小衔接阶段科学育人、家校配合的方向。

At the meeting, Principal Ms. Wendy Yu delivered an address in which she, drawing on the physical and psychological development characteristics of younger pupils, clearly outlined for parents the four core roles in family education: serving as a ‘scaffold’ for their children’s growth, a ‘stabiliser’ for their emotions, a guardian of their concentration, and a facilitator of communication between home and school. Her sincere and practical remarks effectively alleviated parents’ anxieties regarding their children’s transition to school and provided clear guidance on the direction for scientific child-rearing and home-school collaboration during the transition from nursery to primary school.

 

 

致辞结束后，负责家校沟通及年级组班主任协调工作的陈老师开展专题家长课堂。围绕一年级家校沟通技巧、日常教育配合重点、幼小衔接育人方法展开细致分享，贴合家庭教育实际需求，为家长破解育儿困惑，让家校共育更有方法、更有温度。

Following the opening address, Mr. Chen, who is responsible for home-school communication and coordinating class teachers within the year group, led a specialised parent workshop. He provided detailed insights into communication techniques between home and school for P1 pupils, key areas of collaboration in day-to-day education, and approaches to the transition from nursery to primary school. Tailored to the practical needs of family education, the session helped parents resolve their parenting concerns, making the home-school partnership more methodical and heartfelt.

 

 

最后，学生活动中心协调员孟老师，详细介绍了本学期校园特色活动与学生实践安排。通过多元化的活动育人体系，让家长全面了解学校全方位、沉浸式的成长培养模式，助力孩子在学习之余丰富体验、锤炼品格、全面发展。

Finally, Ms. Meng, the Student Activities Centre Coordinator, gave a detailed presentation on this term’s special campus events and student practical activities. Through a diverse system of educational activities, parents were given a comprehensive understanding of the school’s all-round, immersive approach to nurturing students’ growth, which helps children to enrich their experiences, develop their character and achieve all-round development alongside their academic studies.

 

整场家长会，有思考、有干货、有共情、有期许。每一段分享，都是教育初心的传递；每一次交流，都是家校同心的凝聚。

Throughout the parents’ meeting, there was reflection, practical advice, empathy and high hopes. Every contribution conveyed the fundamental spirit of education; every exchange strengthened the bond between home and school.

 

教育是一场美好的双向“育”见，成长是一场持之以恒的同行。此次家长会，为一年级家校共育筑牢了坚实基础。未来，我校将继续坚守育人初心，携手全体家长，从“一”起步，用心陪伴每一位孩子，让孩童在爱与书香中稳步成长、向阳发光。

Education is a wonderful, two-way ‘encounter’ of nurturing, whilst growth is a journey of steadfast companionship. This parents’ evening has laid a solid foundation for home-school collaboration in P1. Moving forward, our school will remain true to our original mission of nurturing young minds, working hand in hand with all parents to start from the very beginning, accompanying every child with care and dedication, so that they may grow steadily and shine brightly amidst love and the love of learning.
