近日，合肥市包河区协和双语学校P2D班举行了“环保同行，绿意共生”主题美德集会，旨在厚植环保理念、传递绿色文明、引导同学们践行环保美德、共建美好家园。一、二年级师生齐聚一堂，在灵动展示中感悟环保意义，在同心合唱中传递绿色希望，共赴一场充满爱与责任的环保盛宴。

Recently, P2D at SUIS Hefei Campus, held a virtue assembly themed ‘Walking Together for the Environment, Growing Together in Greenery’. The event aimed to instil environmental awareness, promote green living, guide pupils in practising eco-friendly virtues, and work together to build a better home. Pupils and teachers from P1 and P2 gathered together to gain an understanding of the importance of environmental protection through lively presentations, convey green hope through a rousing chorus, and join in a celebration of environmental protection filled with love and responsibility.

 

 

集会伊始，班主任张老师以“环保同行，绿意共生”为核心，发表温情致辞。她用生动的语言阐释环保与成长、传承与责任的深刻关联，寄语同学们从小事做起、从身边做起，以点滴行动践行环保美德，以少年之力守护绿水青山，随后庄重宣告本次美德集会正式开始。

At the start of the assembly, the class teacher, Ms. Zhang, delivered a heartfelt address centred on the theme ‘Walking Together for the Environment, Growing Together in Greenery’. Using vivid language, she explained the profound connection between environmental protection and personal growth, as well as between heritage and responsibility. She encouraged the pupils to start with small deeds and begin in their immediate surroundings, practising the virtues of environmental protection through every little action and safeguarding our green mountains and clear waters with the strength of youth. She then solemnly declared the Virtues Assembly officially open.

 

伴随着激昂明快的校歌旋律，集会首个环节——校歌手势舞精彩登场。全体师生精神饱满，跟着旋律舒展肢体、比画手势，整齐划一的动作、朝气蓬勃的笑容，将校歌的内涵与环保的初心相融，为这场绿色盛会拉开了活力序幕，也让环保理念在欢快的氛围中悄然扎根。

To the rousing and upbeat strains of the school anthem, the first item on the programme—the school anthem choreographed dance—took to the stage. With high spirits, the entire school community moved in unison to the music, performing the choreography and hand gestures. Their synchronised movements and radiant smiles seamlessly blended the spirit of the school anthem with the original intent of environmental protection, setting a vibrant tone for this green celebration and allowing environmental values to take root in the joyful atmosphere.

 

校歌手势舞落幕，环保主题视频温情亮相，瞬间吸引了在场师生的目光。镜头之下，P2D班的同学们化身“环保小卫士”，在家中主动践行垃圾分类、节约用水用电、回收废旧物品，在班级里坚持节约粮食、爱护绿植、宣传环保知识，一个个稚嫩的身影、一件件力所能及的环保举措，被一一定格。在场师生于光影流转中，真切感受到少年们的环保担当，也深刻领悟到“环保无小事，人人皆可为”的真谛。

As the school choir’s performance drew to a close, a heart-warming video on environmental protection was screened, instantly capturing the attention of the teachers and pupils in attendance. On screen, the pupils of P2D transformed into ‘Little Environmental Guardians’, actively practising waste sorting, conserving water and electricity, and recycling waste materials at home, whilst in the classroom they were shown saving food, caring for plants, and promoting environmental awareness. Each young figure and every small, practical step they took towards environmental protection was captured on film. As the images flashed across the screen, the teachers and pupils present truly felt the young students’ commitment to environmental protection and deeply grasped the truth that ‘no act of environmental protection is too small; everyone can do their bit’.

 

最令人期待的环保走秀环节如期而至，将集会推向高潮。动感的音乐响起，P2D班的同学们身着和爸爸妈妈一起精心自制的环保服装，自信登场。废旧纸箱、塑料瓶、旧报纸、环保袋等常见废弃物，经过孩子们和家长的巧思创作，变成了款式新颖、创意十足的服装，既有简约大方的裙摆，也有帅气利落的外套。孩子们迈着坚定的步伐，自信展示着环保创意，每一个动作、每一个笑容，都传递着对环保的热爱与坚守，现场掌声、欢呼声此起彼伏。

The much-anticipated eco-fashion show segment arrived as scheduled, bringing the event to a climax. As the upbeat music began to play, the pupils of P2D took to the stage with confidence, wearing eco-friendly outfits they had painstakingly crafted together with their parents. Common waste materials such as old cardboard boxes, plastic bottles, old newspapers and eco-bags were transformed, through the ingenuity of the children and their parents, into stylish and highly creative outfits, ranging from simple, elegant skirts to smart, sharp jackets. The children walked with determined strides, confidently showcasing their eco-friendly creations; every movement and every smile conveyed their passion for and commitment to environmental protection, whilst the venue resounded with waves of applause and cheers.

 

走秀落幕，旋律渐缓，英文歌曲《治愈世界》大合唱温情启幕。P2D班全体小朋友并肩站立，放声歌唱，气势蓬勃的歌声回荡在校园上空，搭配着世界美景主题视频，蓝天、碧水、绿树、繁花的画面与悠扬歌声交相辉映，深情呼吁每一个人携手并肩，用行动守护美好家园，共同营造人与自然和谐共生的美丽新世界。

As the show drew to a close and the music slowed, a heart-warming rendition of the English song ‘Heal the World’ began. All the children from P2D stood shoulder to shoulder, singing at the top of their voices. Their spirited singing echoed across the school grounds, accompanied by a video showcasing the world’s natural beauty. Images of blue skies, clear waters, green trees and blooming flowers intertwined with the melodious singing, making a heartfelt appeal for everyone to join hands and take action to protect our beautiful home, working together to create a new, beautiful world where humanity and nature coexist in harmony.

 

集会上举行了隆重的 “环保美德之星” 颁奖仪式。 台下掌声如潮，台上笑脸如花，环保的榜样力量在此刻熠熠生辉。

A grand ‘Environmental Virtue Star’ award ceremony was held during the gathering. The audience erupted in thunderous applause, whilst the recipients beamed with joy; the inspirational power of these environmental role models shone brightly at that moment.

 

 

歌声渐歇，温情不散，本次“环保同行，绿意共生”主题美德集会圆满落下帷幕。此次集会不仅让同学们在沉浸式体验中深化了环保理念，更让环保美德融入少年成长的点点滴滴。未来，合肥协和的少年们必将以此次集会为契机，以环保为责、以行动为笔，践行绿色使命，传递文明力量，成长为兼具责任担当与环保素养的新时代少年，用少年之力守护绿水青山，共赴绿意盎然的美好未来。

As the singing faded, the warmth lingered on, and the ‘Walking Together for the Environment, Growing Together in Greenery ’ Virtue Assembly drew to a successful close. This assembly not only enabled the pupils to deepen their understanding of environmental protection through an immersive experience, but also integrated the virtue of environmental stewardship into every aspect of their young lives. In the future, the young students of SUIS Hefei Campus will undoubtedly take this assembly as an opportunity to embrace environmental protection as their duty and use action as their pen. They will fulfil their green mission, spread the power of civility, and grow into young people of the new era who possess both a sense of responsibility and environmental literacy. With the strength of youth, they will safeguard our green mountains and clear waters, and together strive towards a beautiful future brimming with greenery.
