九月伊始,阳光洒向焕然一新的校园,仿佛也在温柔地呼唤又一个崭新的开始。在这个充满希望的季节里,一群可爱的一年级新生,如同一颗颗晶莹的种子,落入学校这片沃土。9月1日起,合肥市包河区协和双语学校的老师们为一年级的宝贝们精心准备了一系列精彩纷呈的养成教育活动,陪伴孩子们稳稳迈出成长旅程中重要的一步。
At the beginning of September, sunlight bathes the campus in renewed splendour, as if gently heralding yet another fresh beginning. In this season brimming with promise, a group of adorable new P1 pupils, like sparkling seeds, have taken root in the school’s fertile soil. From 1st September, teachers at SUIS Hefei Campus have meticulously prepared a series of engaging character-building activities for these little ones, accompanying them as they take their first steady steps on this important journey of growth.

DAY 1 · 1st September
清早的阳光透过树叶,斑驳地映在孩子们稚嫩的脸庞上。启动仪式在缪斯剧院如约举行,学生成长中心的孟主任以温暖的话语为孩子们揭开了小学生活的序幕。孩子们在老师们的带领下有序入场,安静中透出好奇,仿佛小小人儿已然知晓——从今天起,我是一名真正的小学生啦!
The early morning sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled patterns across the children’s tender faces. The launch ceremony commenced as scheduled at the Muse Theatre, where Director Ms. Meng of the Student Development Centre warmly welcomed the pupils, marking the beginning of their primary school journey. Led by their teachers, the children entered in orderly fashion, their quiet demeanour tinged with curiosity. It seemed as though these little ones already understood—from this day forth, they were proper primary school pupils!
随后的音乐游戏时间,孟主任如春风化雨,用节奏与旋律叩响孩子们心灵的琴键。欢声笑语中,陌生的隔阂渐渐消融,友谊的第一缕丝线正在悄然编织。
During the subsequent musical activities, Director Ms. Meng, like a gentle spring breeze, used rhythm and melody to strike the heartstrings of the children. Amidst laughter and merriment, the barriers of unfamiliarity gradually dissolved, and the first threads of friendship were quietly woven.
休息过后,常老师与郝老师细致解读《学生手册》,“红黄绿卡”制度如一盏明灯,照亮行为的边界,也点亮前行的动力。孩子们睁大好奇的眼睛,原来“规则”并不是束缚,而是成长的阶梯。
After the break, Ms. Chang and Mr. Hao provided a detailed explanation of the Student Handbook. The “red, yellow and green card” system served as a guiding light, illuminating the boundaries of acceptable behaviour while also igniting motivation to progress. The children listened with wide-eyed curiosity, realising that “rules” were not shackles, but rather stepping stones for growth.
一年级组长郑老师带来的文明礼仪课堂,更像是一场心灵的对话。一句“老师好”、一个侧身礼让,这些细微之处,正悄悄种下一生受益的修养之种。
The civility and etiquette lesson delivered by P1 Head Teacher Ms. Zheng felt more like a dialogue of the heart. A simple ‘Good morning, Teacher’ or a subtle step aside to let others pass – these small gestures quietly sow the seeds of lifelong refinement.

DAY 2 · 2nd September
晨曦中的操场格外明亮,孩子们在高老师的指引下开展队列训练。他们挺直腰板、目光专注,如一株株努力向上生长的小树,学习整齐、学习坚持,也更懂得了什么是“我们”。
The playground glowed brightly in the morning light as the children undertook drill training under Ms. Gao’s guidance. Standing tall with focused gazes, they resembled saplings striving upwards, learning discipline and perseverance while gaining a deeper understanding of what it means to be part of a collective. 
高老师为孩子们展示行规礼仪图片,从教室到食堂,从走廊到操场,孩子们认真练习,用行动书写“有序”的真正含义。
Ms. Gao displayed pictures illustrating conduct and etiquette for the children. From the classroom to the canteen, from the corridors to the playground, the pupils practised diligently, embodying the true meaning of “orderly” through their actions.
郑老师手把手教孩子们整理书包、收拾桌肚。那些曾经歪斜的书本、散落的文具,渐渐变得整齐规整——生活的好习惯,原来就藏在这些小小的动作里。五个班级的同学上台进行展示,学习养成好习惯。
Ms. Zheng guided the children step by step in organising their schoolbags and tidying their desks. Books that had once been askew and scattered stationery gradually became neatly arranged—good habits in daily life are, it turns out, hidden within these small actions. Pupils from five classes took to the stage to demonstrate, learning to cultivate good habits.
孩子们同伴互评与交流,是心与心的轻轻碰撞。他们学习赞美、学习建议,也在彼此的眼中看见更好的自己。
Children’s peer reviews and exchanges are gentle heart-to-heart encounters. They learn to offer praise and constructive suggestions, while also discovering a better version of themselves reflected in each other’s eyes.

最后一天的训练更加深入。余老师和张老师讲解课堂规范,帮助孩子们理解“什么时间该做什么事”。
The final day’s training delved deeper. Ms. Yu and Ms. Zhang explained classroom protocols, helping the children understand ‘what to do at what time’. 
活动的最后,整个年级开展了一场别开生面的“好习惯大评比”活动。各班孩子们精神饱满,纷纷展示入学以来养成的良好行为规范与礼仪习惯。经过老师们的综合评价,最终评选出了表现突出的集体与个人,并举行了庄重而温馨的颁奖仪式。孩子们手捧奖状,脸上洋溢着自豪与喜悦,这份荣誉不仅是对他们努力的最大肯定,更是继续坚持好习惯的美好开端。
At the conclusion of the event, the entire year group participated in a unique “Good Habits Competition”. Pupils from each class, full of enthusiasm, demonstrated the exemplary behaviour and etiquette they had cultivated since starting school. Following comprehensive assessment by the teaching staff, outstanding groups and individuals were selected, culminating in a solemn yet heartwarming awards ceremony. Holding their certificates aloft, the children’s faces beamed with pride and delight. This honour not only represented the highest recognition of their efforts but also marked a splendid beginning for their continued commitment to upholding these commendable habits.
颁奖仪式在掌声与鼓励中悄然落幕,但真正的成长才刚刚启航。我们看到,孩子们的眼神多了几分明亮,行动多了几分自律,言谈间也添了礼貌与温柔。这一切,犹如夏日里灿烂的阳光,终将汇成未来路上的万丈光芒。
The awards ceremony drew to a quiet close amidst applause and encouragement, yet the true journey of growth had only just begun. We observed a newfound brightness in the children’s eyes, a greater sense of self-discipline in their actions, and an added measure of courtesy and gentleness in their speech. All this, like the radiant sunshine of summer, will eventually coalesce into a dazzling radiance illuminating the path ahead.
愿每一位孩子在协和校园的天空下,如笋拔节、如花初绽,在爱与规则的土壤中,长出自信的枝干、善良的叶片。新学期,让我们陪伴他们,一起书写更多美好的可能!
May every child beneath the sky of SUIS Hefei Campus grow like bamboo shoots shooting skywards, like blossoms unfurling for the first time. In the soil of love and discipline, may they develop confident trunks and leaves of kindness. This new term, let us walk alongside them, together crafting even more beautiful possibilities!
