暑气渐消，期待渐浓。为深入了解新一、七年级学生的成长环境，加强家校之间的沟通与协作，帮助孩子们更快适应协和校园生活，近日，我校组织一、七年级班主任及任课教师开展了为期一周的家访活动。
As the summer heat gradually subsides, anticipation grows. To gain a deeper understanding of the growth environment of our P1 and S7 students, strengthen communication and collaboration between home and school, and help children adapt more quickly to life at SUIS Hefei Campus, our school recently organised a week-long home visit activity for first- and seventh-grade homeroom teachers and subject teachers.
8月8日，一年级的老师们进行了家访筹备沙龙活动，之后他们将怀揣着满满的关爱与责任，走进学生们的家庭。活动由郑老师主持，在热情洋溢的破冰游戏中，老师们迅速拉近了距离，促进了彼此间的了解。骆主任以“协和第一课”拉开序幕，深情分享学校办学历史与教学设计理念，传递教育初心；孟主任围绕“遇见”主题，细致解读新生入学方案，明晰工作方向；查老师和梅老师两位分别作为教师代表为大家带来“家访实战指南”，提供实用沟通技巧与方法；陈主任对培训内容进行系统总结，梳理核心要点，同时也温馨提示大家高温天气下注意防暑降温，安全出行。最后，喻校对在场教师提出期望:“协和是一所充满挑战和爱的学校，望老师们能带着责任与担当共建和谐家校”，为即将开启的家访之旅注入满满能量。
On 8th August, P1 teachers held a home visit preparation seminar, after which they visited their students’ homes with a sense of care and responsibility. The event was hosted by Ms. Zheng. Through enthusiastic icebreaker games, the teachers quickly became closer and got to know each other better. Director Mr. Luo kicked off the event with ‘The First Lesson at SUIS Hefei Campus,’sharing the school’s history and educational philosophy with heartfelt passion, and conveying the essence of education. Director Ms. Meng focused on the theme of ‘Encounter,’ providing a detailed interpretation of the new student admission plan and clarifying the direction of work. Ms. Zha and Ms. Mei, as faculty representatives, presented a ‘Home Visit Practical Guide,’ offering practical communication techniques and methods; Director Mr. Chen provided a systematic summary of the training content, highlighting key points, and also kindly reminded everyone to stay cool and safe during the hot weather. Finally, Principal Ms. Wendy Yu expressed her expectations to the teachers present: ‘SUIS-HF is a school full of challenges and love. I hope that teachers will take responsibility and work together to build a harmonious home-school relationship,’ injecting energy into the upcoming home visit trip.
在家访过程中，一年级的老师们以朋友的身份与家长畅聊，以伙伴的姿态与孩子互动。话题围绕着孩子的性格特点、兴趣爱好、生活习惯自然展开。老师们细致倾听家长们的分享与期望，并亲切地给出建议，这份面对面的交流，不仅送达了一纸通知，更送达了一份安心、一份信任与一份承诺。
During home visits, P1 teachers chatted with parents as friends and interacted with children as partners. The topics naturally revolved around the children’s personality traits, interests, and living habits. Teachers listened carefully to parents’ sharing and expectations and offered friendly advice. This face-to-face communication not only delivered a notice but also conveyed peace of mind, trust, and commitment.
七年级的老师为孩子们准备了入学礼物，当老师们将这份充满心意的礼物送到孩子们手中时，不少孩子眼中闪烁着惊喜的光芒。老师们与家长促膝长谈，详细介绍初中阶段的学习特点、校园生活及培养目标，耐心倾听家长对孩子的教育困惑和期望。
The S7 teachers prepared entrance gifts for the children. When the teachers presented these thoughtful gifts to the children, many of them had looks of surprise and delight in their eyes. The teachers had long conversations with the parents, explaining in detail the characteristics of junior high school learning, campus life, and educational goals, and patiently listening to the parents’ concerns and expectations regarding their children’s education.
老师们也细心观察学生的居家表现，鼓励孩子们用新笔记本记录初中生活的点滴感悟，用书签标记成长的足迹，分享对初中生活的向往，缓解他们的入学焦虑。
Teachers also carefully observe students’ behaviour at home, encouraging them to use new notebooks to record their thoughts and feelings about secondary school life, use bookmarks to mark their growth, share their aspirations for secondary school life, and alleviate their anxiety about starting school.
一次亲切的握手，一个温暖的微笑，一场真诚的对话。此次家访用爱与仪式感在家校之间架起了一座沟通的桥梁，为即将开始的协和生活描绘出了第一抹温暖而明亮的底色，让教育的温情在夏日时光里静静流淌。
A warm handshake, a heartfelt smile, and a sincere conversation. This home visit bridged the gap between home and school with love and a sense of ceremony, painting the first warm and bright hues of the upcoming life at SUIS-HF, allowing the warmth of education to flow quietly through the summer days.
