裹着心的光，助人如光照亮前行路。近期，合肥市包河区协和双语学校一、二年级的师生们齐聚大剧院，共同参与由P2A班级主办的精彩校园活动。这场以“乐于助人”为主题的活动，不仅展示了P2A班集体的凝聚力量，更让大家在充满温暖与关爱的氛围中，深刻体会到帮助他人的真正意义。

The light enveloping the heart helps others shine like a beacon on their journey ahead.  Recently, teachers and students from the P1 and P2 of SUIS Hefei Campus gathered at the Muse Theatre to participate in a wonderful campus event hosted by the P2A. The event, themed “Being Helpful,” not only demonstrated the collective cohesive power of the P2A, but also allowed everyone to deeply appreciate the true meaning of helping others in an atmosphere filled with warmth and care.

 

活动的序幕由全体学生齐唱《协和校园之歌》拉开。协和宝贝们悦耳的歌声中，蕴含着对校园的热爱，也为接下来的活动注入了满满的正能量。

The event kicked off with all students singing the “SUIS Campus Song” in unison.  The neat singing contained their love for the campus and injected a lot of positive energy into the following activities.

 

 

紧接着，情景剧《乐于助人与多管闲事》的上演，迎来了本次集会的高潮。通过富有教育意义的剧情，学生们学到了如何分辨乐于助人与多管闲事的界限。老师还播放了同学们精心制作的音乐短片《我要的帮助》，让大家更直观地认识到，帮助他人应建立在对他人需求的尊重和理解之上。最后，老师进行了总结，同学们纷纷表示受益匪浅，学会了如何在日常生活中做到既乐于助人又不干扰他人。

Immediately after, we ushered in the climax of this event – the sitcom “Being Helpful and Meddling”.  Through the educational plot, students learned how to distinguish the boundaries between being helpful and meddling.  The teacher also played the MV “The Help I Need” carefully produced by the students, allowing everyone to more intuitively understand that helping others should be based on respect and understanding of others’ needs.  Finally, the teacher summarized, and the students expressed that they had benefited greatly and learned how to be helpful without interfering with others in daily life.

 

 

活动的另一亮点是“乐于助人”美德之星奖状的颁发。老师们为那些在平日里热心助人的同学们颁发了奖状，并给予了热烈的掌声与鼓励。每一位获得奖状的同学都得到了全场的赞誉，这不仅是对他们品德的肯定，也是对他们善行的褒奖。

Another highlight of the event was the event of the “Helpfulness” Virtue Star Awards.  The teachers awarded certificates to students who had been helpful on a daily basis, and gave them warm applause and encouragement.  Each student who received a certificate received praise from the audience, which was not only a recognition of their moral character but also a commendation for their good deeds.

 

 

活动最后，亲子合唱《裹着心的光》，在歌声中，大家心心相印，感受到了团结和温暖的力量。活动在一张全体成员的合影中圆满落下帷幕，大家定格在这美好的瞬间，记住了这份共同的美好回忆。

At the end of the event, a parent-child chorus of “Light Of Sanctuary” was performed. Amidst the singing, everyone shared a deep connection and felt the power of unity and warmth.  The event came to a successful conclusion with a group photo of all members, capturing this beautiful moment and preserving this shared memory.

此次美德集会意义深远，它让同学们深刻体会到乐于助人是一种快乐，更是一种美德。通过人人参与分享和表演，同学们学会了如何更好地帮助他人，如何成为一个更加友善、体贴的自己。相信在今后的生活中，同学们会把乐于助人的美德在班级里生根发芽，让校园充满更多温暖与关爱。

This Virtues Assembly  was far-reaching in that it allowed students to deeply appreciate that being helpful is a joy and even more of a virtue. Through everyone’s participation in sharing and performing, students learnt how to help others better and how to become a more friendly and considerate self. We believed that in the future life, students will take the virtue of being helpful to others to take root in the class, so that the campus will be filled with more warmth and care.
