今年3月5日，是第62个“学雷锋纪念日”为践行社会主义核心价值观，大力弘扬雷锋精神和“奉献、友爱、互助、进步”的志愿精神，合肥市包河区协和双语学校通过学习雷锋事迹、为社区老人送温暖等环节，深入挖掘雷锋精神的时代内涵，让雷锋精神潜移默化浸润青少年的心灵。

March 5th this year marks the 62nd “Commemoration Day of Learning from Lei Feng”. In order to practice the core values of socialism and vigorously promote the spirit of Lei Feng and the volunteer spirit of “dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance, and progress”, SUIS Hefei Campus has deeply explored the contemporary connotation of Lei Feng’s spirit through learning about his deeds and providing warmth to the elderly in the community, allowing the spirit of Lei Feng to subtly permeate the hearts of young people.

3月5日中午，协和学生在缪斯剧院参加双语雷锋精神讲座。校团委周老师及校大队部孟老师讲解雷锋的生平事迹、雷锋精神的核心价值以及如何在现代社会中实践雷锋精神。

On the afternoon of March 5th, our children attended a bilingual lecture on the spirit of Lei Feng at the Muse Theater.  Ms. Zhou from the Youth Committee and Ms. Meng from the Brigade Department explained Lei Feng’s life stories, the core values of the Lei Feng spirit, and how to practice the Lei Feng spirit in modern society.

 

 

P2C林承泽、P2E王添凤、S7A任思耒同学共同参与互动演讲《雷锋日记》传递雷锋精神的时代价值与传统。P4A班的安艺菲同学为我们带来英语演讲《雷锋故事精选》。

P2C Andy Lin, P2E Mila Wang , and S7A Recardo Ren jointly participated in the interactive speech “Lei Feng’s Diary” to convey the contemporary value and tradition of Lei Feng’s spirit. Anna An from P4A delivered an English speech “Selected Stories of Lei Feng”.

 

外教们也和孩子们一同参与了讲座，Wendy老师和Gim老师作为代表分享了自己对雷锋精神的理解，并表示会将雷锋精神与自己的教育教学相结合，向学生传递更多的正能量。

The foreign teachers also participated in the lecture alongside the children. Ms. Wendy and Mr. Gim, as representatives, shared their understanding of Lei Feng’s spirit and expressed their intention to integrate it into their educational teaching, thereby imparting more positive energy to their students.

 

 

校党支部副书记鲍广泉同志也向师生们提出了期许，希望大家把这份热情和爱心带到每一天的学习和生活中，让雷锋精神成为我们前行的动力。

Ms. Amy Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of the school, also made expectations to the teachers and students, hoping that everyone would bring this enthusiasm and love to their daily studies and life, and let the spirit of Lei Feng become the driving force for our progress.

Young Supervisors Learn From Lei Feng and Perform Their Duties

 

 

校共青团及大队部的小督导代表们起到了积极带头作用，在食堂作为志愿者执勤，学习雷锋精神，帮助学弟学妹打饭、维护食堂、检查光盘行动、就餐秩序等。

The representatives of the Communist Youth League and the brigade department also played an active leading role, serving as volunteers in the canteen, learning from Lei Feng’s spirit, helping the younger students with meal service, maintaining the canteen, checking the Clean Your Plate Campaign, and ensuring the order of dining.

3月4日和5日，学生志愿者代表与大队部小督导分别两次走进泰康之家开展了慰问活动。学生们带去自己亲手制作的小礼物和祝福卡片，为老人们表演才艺送去温暖。在那里，我们聆听了88岁老党员爷爷的故事。他用质朴的话语，讲述了过去的艰辛与奋斗。作为老党员，他对雷锋精神理解深刻：“雷锋精神不是空洞的口号，而是融入生活的点滴行动，是为人民服务的初心，是默默奉献的坚守，更是代代相传的精神谱系。”

On March 4th and 5th, representatives of volunteers and little supervisors from the school’s brigade department respectively carried out condolence activities at Taikang Community on two occasions. Our students brought along handmade gifts and greeting cards, performing their talents to bring warmth to the elderly.  There, we listened to the story of an 88-year-old grandfather who is a party member.  He recounted the hardships and struggles of the past in simple words.  As a veteran party member, he had a profound understanding of Lei Feng’s spirit: “Lei Feng’s spirit is not an empty slogan, but rather actions integrated into daily life. It is the original intention of serving the people, the perseverance of silent dedication, and a spiritual lineage passed down from generation to generation.”

 

 

同学们陪爷爷奶奶唱红歌、聊天，熟悉的旋律带我们回到激情岁月，看到他们脸上的笑容，我们也收获满满。同学们各展才艺，唱歌、跳舞、朗诵，每个节目都赢得热烈掌声。活动结束，爷爷奶奶拉着我们的手，依依不舍。那一刻，我们明白雷锋精神是情感的传递，我们温暖了他们，他们的笑容也温暖了我们。

Our students accompanied their grandparents in singing patriotic songs and chatting. The familiar melodies took us back to the passionate years. Seeing the smiles on their faces, we also gained a lot.  Our students showed their talents, singing, dancing, and reciting. Each performance won warm applause.  At the end of the event, the grandparents held our hands and were reluctant to leave.  At that moment, we understood that the spirit of Lei Feng is the transmission of emotions. We warmed them, and their smiles warmed us as well.

春风拂过，三月到来，合肥市包河区协和双语学校通过“知、行、创”三维度践行新时代雷锋精神，在融合教育中传递温暖力量。

As the spring breeze blows and March arrives, SUIS Hefei Campus practices the spirit of Lei Feng in the new era through the three dimensions of “knowledge, action, and innovation”, conveying warm energy in integrated education.
