The most beautiful sound is the harmonious music of home and school; the best education is undoubtedly the brilliant results created by home and school hand in hand.Adhering to the noble mission of education, the primary school section of SUIS-HF successfully held a Parents’ Open Day with the theme of “Open and Vivid Classroom, Home and School Hand in Hand” under the warm winter sun.
活动前夕，家长们满怀期待地提前抵达学校，在学生自主管理岗的小督导们热情洋溢引导下，欣然步入各自孩子的班级。
On the eve of the event, parents arrived at the school in advance with great anticipation, and under the enthusiastic guidance of the student supervisors of the Student Self-Management Post, they were pleased to enter their children’s classrooms.
课堂上，他们与孩子一同沉浸于丰富多彩的课程内容中，包括生动有趣、引人入胜的语文、英语授课，独具特色、双语融合的体育、音乐课程，以及充满探索精神、激发思维活力的双语探究课程和英语语言艺术学习课程。
In the classroom, they were immersed in the rich and colourful curriculum together with their children, including interesting and engaging language and English lessons, unique and bilingual sports and music lessons, as well as bilingual inquiry and ELA (English Language Arts) lessons that are full of exploration and stimulate the mind.
教育从来不是老师或家长的独角戏，而是需要家校双方的紧密联系与默契配合。为了进一步增进家校之间的沟通与联系，共同助力学生的健康成长与全面发展，各年级在教学展示课后，精心组织了形式多样的家长会。
Education is never a one-man show for teachers or parents, but requires close contact and tacit co-operation between home and school.In order to further enhance the communication and contact between home and school, and to jointly help students grow up healthily and develop comprehensively, all grades carefully organised a variety of parent-teacher conferences after the teaching demonstration class.
各年级组、各班班主任为此次家长会做了充分的准备，从班级现状的细致剖析，到孩子成长各阶段的普遍问题与个案的深入解读，再到家庭教育的小贴士与家校合作的重要性，与家长进行了全面而深入的探讨与交流。老师们不仅指出了孩子们在成长过程中可能遇到的问题与挑战，还提供了切实可行的解决方案与建议。同时，他们强调了家校双方如何有效配合，共同为孩子的全面发展与健康成长保驾护航。此外，学科老师们还结合学科特点，给出了针对性的学科建议，有效缓解了家长在育儿过程中的焦虑与困惑。
All grade groups and class teachers made full preparations for this parent-teacher conference, from the detailed analysis of the current situation of the class, to the in-depth interpretation of common problems and cases at various stages of children’s growth, to the tips on family education and the importance of home-school co-operation, and had comprehensive and in-depth discussions and exchanges with the parents. Teachers not only pointed out the problems and challenges that children may encounter in the process of growth, but also provided practical solutions and suggestions. At the same time, they emphasised how home and school can work together effectively to ensure the overall development and healthy growth of children. In addition, the subject teachers also gave targeted suggestions in the light of the characteristics of their subjects, which effectively relieved parents’ anxiety and confusion in the process of childcare.
此次家长开放日活动，不仅充分展现了协和双语学校开放包容的教育理念与办学特色，更彰显了家校共育的强大力量与深远影响。在教育的道路上，家校双方携手并肩、共同努力，为孩子们的健康成长与美好未来贡献着智慧与力量。
