在这金秋送爽、天高云淡的美好季节里，合肥协和双语学校迎来了第四届秋季田径运动会暨第三届运动大会的盛大开幕。10月29日上午，阳光洒满校园，全校师生满怀激情与期待，共同见证了这一激动人心的时刻。 In this beautiful season of autumn and high clouds, SUIS-HF ushered in the grand opening of the 4th Autumn Athletic Meet and the 3rd Sports Assembly. On the morning of 29th October, the sunshine filled the campus, and all the teachers and students were full of passion and expectation to witness this exciting moment together.
首先国旗队、校旗队、会徽队以及各班级方阵依次入场。国旗队步伐矫健，手中的五星红旗迎风飘扬，象征着祖国的繁荣与昌盛；校旗队紧随其后，校旗在阳光下熠熠生辉，彰显着合肥协和双语学校的蓬勃生机与昂扬斗志。
Firstly, the National Flag Team, School Flag Team, Emblem Team and all class formations entered in order. The National Flag Team had a good pace and the five-star red flag in their hands was fluttering in the wind, symbolising the prosperity of the motherland; the School Flag Team followed closely behind, and the school flag was shining under the sunlight, highlighting the vigorous vitality and high morale of SUIS Hefei Campus.
会徽由红、黄、蓝三原色交织在一起，寓意着运动员们将在赛场上碰撞出不一样的火花。会徽中心，“SUIS”组成一个正在短跑冲线的人的姿态，象征着运动员们勇往直前、追求卓越的体育精神，体现了设计者房雨嘉同学的独具匠心。
The emblem consists of the three primary colours of red, yellow and blue intertwined together, implying that the athletes will collide with different sparks on the field of play. In the centre of the emblem, ‘SUIS’ forms the stance of a person sprinting for the line, symbolising the athletes’ sportsmanship of going forward and pursuing excellence, reflecting the ingenuity of the designer, Emily Fang.
紧接着，各班级方阵以饱满的热情和昂扬的斗志步入会场。本次运动会入场方阵围绕主题“发扬奥运精神，争做强国少年”，将奥运元素融入到方阵展示中。
Immediately thereafter, the class formations entered the venue with full enthusiasm and high fighting spirit. The entrance square of the Games around the theme of ‘Strive to Be A Strong Young Man in the Spirit of the Olympic Games’, the Olympic elements into the square display.
一年级组各个方阵结合球类项目，展示了不同球类运动的独特魅力。P1A星辰班的足球小将们如璀璨星辰，在浩瀚天空中闪耀着独特的光芒；P1B向阳班的篮球宝贝们身穿中国红的篮球服，手持黄色篮球，向祖国母亲致敬；P1C竹梦班的的小精灵们手持乒乓球拍，以无畏挑战、勇往直前的姿态宣告着决心与勇气；P1D日初班的小可爱们化身活泼灵动的“小鸭子“，手持奥运火炬象征着对体育精神的传承与追求；P1E青苗班的运动健儿们步伐整齐，挥动着的羽球拍代表着他们顽强的毅力和不畏强者的体育精神；P1G银河班的小小舞者们笑容灿烂，他们将以拼搏奋进的精神为班级争光添彩。
Various squads in the P1 group combined ball sports to demonstrate the unique charms of different ball sports. The football players of P1A Star Class are like bright stars, shining uniquely in the vast sky; Basketball babies from P1B Sunny Class wore Chinese red basketball jerseys and held yellow basketballs to pay tribute to their motherland; Holding table tennis paddles, the elves of P1C Dreaming Class declared their determination and courage with their fearlessness to challenge and move forward; The children of P1D Sunrise Class transformed into lively and dynamic ‘ducklings’, holding the Olympic torch to symbolise the inheritance and pursuit of sportsmanship; The athletes of P1E Beanstalk Class walked at a neat pace, and their waving badminton rackets represented their tenacity and sportsmanship in defying the strongest; The little dancers of P1G Galaxy Class are all smiles as they will be working hard to make their class proud.

The P2 team squares displayed different Olympic sports. The P2A ‘Siqi Class’ of National Style Juniors were transformed into skiers and took centre stage in all their glory; P2B ‘Jiusi Class’ conveyed the spirit of nine thoughts with the flower balloon cheerleading; The young swimmers in P2C’s ‘Yunfan Class’ have strong postures and firm steps, as if they were warriors about to conquer the ocean; The P2D ‘Yulong Class’ is a collection of different Olympic sports that have blossomed; The colourful ribbons in the hands of P2E ‘Qinghe Class’ are brave and confident, and they are born to the sun; P2G ‘Zhuiguang Class’ shines in the rhythm of rhythmic exercise, pursuing the light of their dreams.

P3, on the other hand, demonstrated the exotic sports glamour with the international vision of the Intercontinental Carnival. The released multicoloured balloons represented the five rings of the Olympic Games, and the Olympic Fuwa drew cheers from everyone. P3A represents the mysterious and vibrant Africa, demonstrating the desire for victory and the value of friendship; P3B represents the vast and passionate Americas, where the spirit of pioneering and innovation complements the Olympic spirit of sport; P3C class represents the ancient and full of wisdom of Asia, and they are as powerful and calm as the Asian dragon; Representing elegant and creative Europe, the P3D class demonstrated the various Olympic disciplines with rigour and seriousness and the pursuit of excellence; P3E class stepped into the venue with Oceania’s blue sea, blue sky and sunshine enthusiasm, and the colourful balls in their hands glittered in the sunshine.

The P5A wizards from Hogwarts Castle were in high spirits, while the P5B children carried the mascots of the previous Olympic Games and the flags of the host countries, and worked hard in the Olympic spirit of ‘Higher, Faster, Stronger’!
P6A手持气球，“合肥协和五周年快乐”表达着对母校五周年的美好祝福，彩色的班旗飞扬，印着奥运五环色彩的手印代表着团结一致的体育精神；P6B高举师生共绘的中国地图，34个省份及地区是不容分割的整体，目光所及皆是华夏儿女 ，对祖国母亲的热爱激励着他们不断奋斗！
P6A held a balloon, ‘SUIS-HF Happy 5th Anniversary’ expressed the good wishes for the 5th anniversary of the alma mater, the colourful class flag flew, and the handprints printed with the colours of the five rings of the Olympic Games represented the unity and sportsmanship; P6B holds up a map of China drawn by teachers and students. The 34 provinces and regions are an indivisible whole, and as far as the eye can see, there are all the sons and daughters of China, who are inspired by their love for their motherland to strive for continuous improvement!
初中部精神抖擞，士气高昂。名著《西游记》中的师徒四人走出书本，领衔班级方阵，国际舞蹈Queencard激情上演，中西合璧，擦出了不一样的火花。
The secondary school was full of spirit and high morale. The four masters and disciples from the masterpiece Journey to the West stepped out of their books to lead the class squares, and the international dance Queencard was staged with passion, combining Chinese and Western elements and rubbing out a different kind of spark.
高中部环球探秘学院的学子们化身勇敢的探险家，怀揣好奇与热爱，在学术的海洋里探寻着世界与环球的奥秘，无论前方有多少挑战，他们都将勇往直前。
The students of the High School Global Mystery Academy are transformed into brave explorers with curiosity and love, exploring the mysteries of the world and the globe in the ocean of academics, and they will go forward no matter how many challenges are ahead of them.
由协和老师组成的裁判员队伍是本次运动会的公平使者。他们用手中的秒表和量尺记录每一位运动员的成绩，是运动会上最忙碌、最可爱的人。
The team of referees composed of SUIS-HF teachers were the fair messengers of the Games. They used the stopwatch and measuring tape in their hands to record the results of each athlete, and were the busiest and loveliest people in the Games.
最后走来的是家长志愿者代表队。他们用“奉献、友爱、互助、进步”表达着对孩子成长的牵挂和对学校发展的支持。
Last but not least is the Parent Volunteer Team. They expressed their concern for their children’s growth and support for the development of the school with ‘dedication, friendship, mutual help and progress’.
雄壮的国歌声中拉开序幕，鲜艳的五星红旗在晨光中冉冉升起，全校师生肃立，共同表达对祖国的热爱与敬意。
The majestic national anthem opened the ceremony, the bright five-star red flag rose in the morning light, the whole school stood in silence to express their love and respect for the motherland.
喻霞校长发表了热情洋溢的开幕词，寄语小小运动员们不仅在本次运动会中大胆拼搏，展示自己的实力，将来更能在世界的舞台上精彩亮相；她还鼓励运动员们在本次运动大会中发扬拼搏精神，赛出风格、赛出水平，坚韧和拼搏、友谊和欢乐同在！
Ms. Wendy Yu, the principal of our school delivered a passionate opening speech, sent little athletes not only in the Games in the bold struggle to show their strength, and in the future more in the world on the stage of the wonderful appearance; she also encouraged the athletes to carry forward the spirit of hard work in this sports conference, race out of the style, the level of competition, toughness and hard work, friendship and joy in the same!
裁判员代表和运动员代表也分别进行了宣誓，承诺将秉持公正、公平的原则，全力以赴。

最后，随着喻校长宣布秋季田径运动会正式开幕，礼花飞舞，全场响起了雷鸣般的掌声。

P5 and P6 brought the dance ‘Wonderful Surprise’. On the green field, our students presented a world full of fantastic colours to the audience with their splendid colours and agile dance steps.
