with good expectations and vigour.

 

瞧，新同学们从站立、稍息、立正等基本项目开始学起。每一个动作，老师都亲自分解示范与指导，从昂头挺胸到摆臂踢腿，都要通过老师严格把关。同学们认真学习、坚持训练，第一天的体验，已经展现了我校新同学自强不息的坚韧品质。每一个整齐的步伐都挥洒着青春努力的汗水，每一次铿锵的口号都唱响了斗志昂扬的激情。一天里，他们学会了坚韧不拔，懂得了团结协作。

See, our new students start from the basic items such as standing up, resting at ease, standing at attention and so on. Each action, the teacher personally breaks down the demonstration and guidance, from the head held high chest to swinging arms and kicking legs, all through the teacher strict control. Students study seriously, adhere to the training, the first day of experience, has shown our new students self-improvement tough quality. Every neat step is splashed with the sweat of youthful endeavour, and every resounding slogan is sung with the passion of fighting spirit. In one day, they learnt to be resilient and know how to unite and collaborate.

那一张张被阳光亲吻过的脸庞，见证了从娇嫩到刚毅的转变。

Those sun-kissed faces have witnessed the transformation from delicate to stalwart.

 

入学教育期间,除了队列、团体操训练外，同学们还进行了学校校歌学习，参加了德育活动、初中学习方法指导等讲座，在进行体能训练的同时，也加强了学生的爱国精神及安全意识。

During the period of entrance education, in addition to formation and group exercise training, students also learnt the school song, attended lectures on moral education activities and guidance on secondary school learning methods, and strengthened the patriotic spirit and safety awareness of the students while carrying out physical training.

 

 

9月5日下午15:30，为期四天的七年级入学教育迎来了闭幕盛典。同学们以饱满的精神和蓬勃的朝气，将入学教育成果逐一展现。立正、稍息、跨立、蹲下起立、敬礼、韵律操等，每一个动作都标准规范，每一声口号都响亮有力。整齐划一的队形、嘹亮高昂的口号，彰显了协和双语学子积极向上、拼搏进取的精神风貌，赢得了初中部老师们阵阵热烈掌声。

At 15:30 on the afternoon of 5th September, the four-day S7 entrance education ushered in the closing ceremony. Our students showed the results of the entrance education one by one with full spirit and vigour. Standing at attention, at ease, straddling, squatting and standing up, saluting, rhythmic gymnastics, etc., each action is standard, each slogan is loud and powerful. The neat formation and loud and clear slogans demonstrated the positive and enterprising spirit of SUIS-HF’s students, and won the warm applause from the teachers of the secondary school.

 

 

入学教育活动结束后，学校的喻校长进行总结讲话。她代表学校对圆满完成了此次入学教育的新生表达了祝贺，并对在入学教育中付出了辛勤劳动的老师与有突出表现的学生给予了肯定与表扬。同时,希望同学们要培养积极、向上、团结互助的品质，志存高远、脚踏实地，为未来的美好人生而努力奋斗。

At the end of the orientation programme, our school’s Principal Ms. Wendy Yu made a concluding speech. On behalf of our school, she expressed her congratulations to the new students who had successfully completed the entrance education, and gave recognition and praise to the teachers who had worked hard and the students who had outstanding performance in the entrance education. At the same time, she hoped that the students would cultivate the qualities of positivity, upward mobility, solidarity and mutual help, aspire to high aspirations, be practical and work hard for a better life in the future.

 

入学教育，虽然短暂却意义非凡。它不仅是一次体能的锻炼，更是一次心灵的洗礼和精神的升华。2024级初一新生们，正以更加饱满的热情、更加坚定的步伐，迈向人生的新征程。让我们共同期待，在未来的日子里，他们能够以更加优异的成绩，书写属于自己的青春华章！

Entrance education, although short but meaningful. It is not only a physical exercise, but also a spiritual baptism and sublimation of the spirit. 2024 freshmen are stepping into the new journey of life with a fuller enthusiasm and a more determined pace. Let’s look forward to the future, they can be more excellent results, writing their own youthful chapter!
