晨光熹微，合肥市包河区协和双语学校迎来了又一批满怀憧憬与梦想的一年级新生。为了让他们在新环境中迅速找到自信与归属，学校精心策划了一场入学教育。两天的活动不仅是孩子们迈向小学殿堂的华丽起点，更是他们开启智慧之门、放飞梦想的崭新篇章。

In the early morning light, SUIS-HF ushered in another batch of P1 students full of aspirations and dreams. In order to let them find confidence and belonging in the new environment, the school carefully planned an entrance education. The two-day activity is not only a gorgeous starting point for the children to step into the hall of primary school, but also a brand-new chapter for them to open the door of wisdom and let their dreams fly.

 

9月2日下午，伴随着悠扬的《协和校园之歌》，新生入学教育的启动仪式在缪斯剧院拉开帷幕。一年级师生庄严地站立，目送鲜艳的五星红旗冉冉升起，歌声悠扬，每一个音符都在孩子们心中播下了热爱祖国、珍惜校园生活的种子。

In the afternoon of September 2nd, accompanied by the melodious ‘SUIS Campus Song’, the launching ceremony of the new students’ entrance education kicked off in the Muse Theatre. The P1 teachers and students stood solemnly and watched the bright five-star red flag rising. The song was sung in a melodious voice, and every note sowed the seeds of love for the motherland and cherishing campus life in the children’s hearts.

 

 

入学教育开始，大队辅导员孟老师亲切地引导学生理解小学和幼儿园的区别，孩子们闪烁着好奇与期待，仿佛在探索这全新的世界。接着，孟老师带领孩子们一起练习口令：“注意啦，一二！看看我，看看你！”一声声有力的口号回荡在剧院中，孩子们专注的神情展示出他们即将迎接新挑战的坚定信心。

At the beginning of the entrance education, Ms. Meng, the team counsellor, kindly guided the students to understand the difference between primary school and kindergarten, and the children shone with curiosity and expectation, as if they were exploring this brand-new world. Then, Ms. Meng led the children to practice the slogan: ‘Attention, one two! Look at me, look at you!’ A powerful slogan echoed in the theatre, and the children’s concentration showed their confidence in meeting the new challenges they were about to face.

 

 

接下来的游戏环节更是将活动推向了高潮。孩子们在张老师的带领下，通过“看图片做动作”的游戏，快乐地学习与理解校园生活中的重要规则。在欢声笑语中，这些充满趣味与互动的游戏培养了孩子们的专注力和反应力，帮助他们迅速融入新的集体。

The next part of the game was the climax of the activity. Led by Mr. Zhang, our children were able to learn and understand the important rules of school life through the game ‘Look at the Pictures and Do the Actions’. These fun and interactive games developed the children’s ability to focus and react, and helped them to quickly integrate into the new group.

 

 

在随后的音乐活动中，张老师耐心地教唱《协和校园之歌》。每一句歌词都蕴含着协和的精神，每一个音符都象征着对美好未来的憧憬。一年级班主任张老师则用生动的讲解和视频，向孩子们传授了如何在日常生活中展示文明礼仪——从如何和家长说“我去上学了”，在缪斯剧院内的礼貌举止，每一个细节都在引导孩子们养成良好的行为习惯。

In the music activity that followed, Mr. Zhang patiently taught the SUIS Campus Song. Every lyric contained the spirit of SUIS-HF, and every note symbolised the longing for a better future. The P1 class teacher, Ms. Zhang, taught our children how to demonstrate good manners in their daily lives through vivid explanations and videos. From how to say ‘I’m going to school’ to their parents, to how to behave politely in the Muse Theatre, every detail guided the children to develop good behavioural habits.

 

 

9月3日上午，孩子们在班主任的带领下，进一步学习了如何规范地排队、整理班级内务、遵守课堂规则等内容。这些丰富的活动陪养了孩子的自律精神和集体意识，从而更快地适应全新的小学生活。

On the morning of 3rd September, the children were led by their class teachers to further learn how to line up in a disciplined manner, tidy up their classroom chores and observe classroom rules. These rich activities accompanied the children’s self-discipline and collective consciousness, so as to adapt to the brand new primary school life more quickly.

 

 

外教老师们在课前与课中与孩子们积极互动，从基本的问候语言“早上好, 下午好”到课堂规范行为指令“起立,坐下”,再到“小眼睛看看我, 小眼睛看看你”,孩子们在真实的情景中学习应用，走班上课时，小小路队长运用“列队”来有效整队。

The foreign teachers actively interacted with the children before and during the class, from the basic greetings ‘good morning, good afternoon’ to the classroom behavioural instructions ‘stand up ,sit down’, to ‘eyes on me, eyes on you’, the children learnt to apply them in real-life situations, and the little road captains used ‘line up’ to effectively form a line when they walked to the classroom.

 

 

这短短的新生入学教育，如一场温暖的春雨，滋润着孩子们的心田，帮助他们在陌生的校园中找到归属感。孩子们用他们的欢笑与努力，踏出了小学生活的第一步。我们相信，有老师的悉心引导和无私陪伴，这群朝气蓬勃的小小少年们，将会在协和这片沃土上，绽放出属于他们的光彩，遇见最好的自己。

This short orientation was like a warm spring rain that nourished the children’s hearts and helped them find a sense of belonging in the unfamiliar campus. With their laughter and hard work, our children took their first step in primary school life. We believe that with the teachers’ careful guidance and selfless accompaniment, this group of energetic youngsters will blossom in this fertile land of SUIS-HF and meet the best of themselves.
