别过夏花之绚烂，走进秋叶之静美，合肥市包河区协和双语学校于9月1日下午举行了一年级新生家长会。本次家长会以“真诚沟通，携手育人”为主题，旨在搭建家校沟通桥梁，共同促进孩子健康成长。
Farewell to the splendour of summer flowers and enter the quiet beauty of autumn leaves. SUIS-HF held a parent-teacher conference for the first grade students on the afternoon of 1st September. With the theme of ‘Sincere Communication, Hand in Hand with Parenting’, the meeting aimed to build a bridge between home and school and jointly promote the healthy growth of children.
Carefully Prepared – Full of Love
在大队部辅导员孟老师的主持下，家长会正式开启。活动开场播放了夏日家访的暖场视频，孩子、家长与老师脸上洋溢的笑容为活动的开展增添了温暖的色彩，体现了家长对学校的信任及学校对孩子全方位的爱。
The Parents’ Meeting was officially opened under the auspices of the Brigade Counsellor, Ms. Meng. A warm-up video of a summer home visit was played at the beginning of the event. The smiles on the faces of the children, parents and teachers added warmth to the event, reflecting the parents’ trust in the school and the school’s all-round love for their children.
在爱意满满的视频结束后，协和新教师团队按语、数、英、艺体分组进行风采展示，每位新老师都展现出了积极的精神风貌。
After the love-filled video,SUIS-HF’s team of new teachers were grouped by Chinese, maths,English, arts and sports for a style show, with each new teacher displaying a positive spirit.
Parents’ School – Warm Launch
喻霞校长首先宣布家长学校开课，并带来了家长学校第一课。喻校引用教育家苏霍姆林斯基的名言阐述了家庭教育的重要性。她强调教育学就是关系学，带着爱与真诚的亲子关系和师生关系才能成就有温度的教育。她呼吁在座的家长了解孩子的同时注重栽培自己，成长为主动学习者，关注孩子成长阶段的各个敏感期，为孩子提供情绪价值，以科学的方式助力孩子成长。最后喻校强调教育是师生、是家长和孩子共同参与的精神活动，教育的效果取决于学校和家庭教育影响的一致性，“亲其师，信其道”，教育的旅程是爱与智慧的同行。
School Principal Ms. Wendy Yu firstly announced the opening of the Parents’ School and brought the first lesson of the Parents’ School. Ms. Wendy Yu quoted educator Sukhomlinsky’s famous words to elaborate the importance of family education. She emphasised that pedagogy is all about relationships, and that a warm education can only be achieved through parent-child and teacher-student relationships with love and sincerity. She called on parents to understand their children while cultivating themselves, to grow as active learners, to pay attention to the sensitive periods of their children’s development, to provide emotional value for their children, and to help their children grow in a scientific way. Finally, Ms. Wendy Yu emphasised that education is a spiritual activity involving teachers and students, parents and children, and that the effectiveness of education depends on the consistency of the influence of school and family education, ‘pro-teachers, believe in the way’, and that the journey of education is a journey of love and wisdom.
Dual Identity – Parent Class
小学部陈主任作为一名教育人，同时也作为一年级学生家长代表做了真诚分享。他引导家长关注孩子从幼儿园到小学的重大转变，以科学认知的角度了解孩子现阶段的心理发展特点，并做好相应的心理准备。陈主任同样强调了沟通的重要性，还从家长与孩子、与老师和与同学家长等不同角度进行沟通时的注意事项提出了专业的建议，最终帮助孩子尽快适应新阶段，养成良好的学习、行为习惯，为将来的成长打下坚实的基础。
Director Mr. Chen of the primary school section, as an educator and also as a representative of parents of P1 students, made a sincere sharing. He guided parents to pay attention to the significant transition of their children from kindergarten to primary school, to understand the characteristics of their children’s psychological development at this stage from the perspective of scientific cognition, and to make corresponding psychological preparations. Director Mr. Chen likewise emphasised the importance of communication, and also gave professional advice on the dos and don’ts when communicating from different perspectives, such as parents and children, teachers and parents of classmates, ultimately helping children to adapt to the new stage as soon as possible, develop good learning and behavioural habits, and lay a solid foundation for future growth.
家校携手，协同育人。因为信任所以追随，因为心怀热爱，我们共赴未来。此次家长会的召开，是家与学校、爱与责任的双向奔赴，相信在家校同心、教育同行、爱心共育下，合肥协和一年级的萌宝们一定能快乐成长、蓄力启航，绽放出最美的模样!
Home and school work together to educate people. Because of the trust so follow, because the heart love, we go to the future together. The convening of this parent-teacher conference is a home and school, love and responsibility of the two-way run, we believe that home and school with one heart, education counterparts, love and co-parenting, the P1 will be able to grow up happily and sail, blossomed out the most beautiful model!
