春日和煦,万象更新,为进一步推进家校社协同育人,落实“家长对学校工作的知情权、监督权和参与权”提案,合肥市包河区协和双语学校高中部于3月29日召开2023-2024学年第二学期高中家委会会议。

With the warm spring breeze and the renewal of all things, to further promote the collaborative education between home and school, and implement the proposal of “parents’ right to know, supervise, and participate in school work,” the Parent Committee of the High School Department of SUIS,Hefei Campus convened the second semester meeting for the 2023-2024 academic year on March 29.
首先,高中部德育副校长Tricy向家委们汇报了学校上一阶段性工作成果,总结得失,分析成绩,寻找方法,找准定位。通过对全球统考满分、国际竞赛获奖、名校录取等数据的解读,给家长们传递了信心。

Firstly, Tricy,the Vice Principal of Moral Education of the high school department reported to the parents on the school’s recent work achievements, summarized the gains and losses, analyzed the results, and sought methods to pinpoint the school’s positioning. By interpreting data such as global standardized test scores, international competition awards, and admissions to prestigious universities, confidence was instilled in the parents.
接着,以“优化提质,付诸行动”为主题,Tricy向家长们汇报了现阶段的学校工作,紧紧围绕“提质”这个目标,学校在教育、教学、管理、安全四个方面采取了哪些优化举措。学校决心“做强教学质量,提升学生学术成绩;做实全人教育,提升学生核心素养;做细安全管理,呵护学生健康成长;做优教师队伍,引领教师专业成长。”,以此来为学生的成长成功保驾护航。

Subsequently, under the theme of “Optimization and Improvement in Action,” Tricy reported to the parents on the current stage of school work, focusing closely on the goal of “improvement.” The school has taken various optimization measures in education, teaching, management, and safety. The school is determined to “strengthen teaching quality, improve students’ academic performance; implement holistic education, enhance students’ core competencies; refine safety management, safeguard students’ healthy growth; and optimize the teacher team, leading teachers’ professional growth,” to ensure the successful growth of students.
随后,聚焦家校共建,Tricy以“升级认知,助力成长”为题,围绕“让孩子的成长提速”,从量子力学的层面提出“心念”,引领家长升级认知,倡导家长做正能量的传递者,做学习型家长,要重塑自我,在思想上和格局上与孩子同向而行。

Following that, focusing on the collaboration between home and school, Tricy presented on the topic of “Upgrading Awareness to Support Growth,” centered around “accelerating children’s growth.” From the perspective of quantum mechanics, the concept of “mindfulness” was introduced to upgrade parents’ awareness, advocating for parents to become positive energy transmitters, and become learning-oriented parents, aiming to reshape themselves to align with their children in thoughts and perspectives.

主题分享结束后,再次聚焦学生安全和手机管理,行政副校长Shwan以教育政策、未成年人保护法为依据,重申了学校的管理制度,校级校规,介绍了走读卡和手机智能存储柜的使用方法,强调了“安全重于泰山”,学校和家庭都要认真履责。

After the theme sharing session, attention was once again directed towards student safety and mobile phone management. Shawn, the Vice Principal reiterated the school’s management system and regulations based on educational policies and the Law on the Protection of Minors, introducing the usage of commuter cards and intelligent mobile storage lockers, emphasizing that “safety is paramount,” and both the school and families must take their responsibilities seriously.
本次家委会会议,充分展现了家长对学校教育教学工作的参谋、建议、监督作用。通过会议,促进家校共育,不断提高家长学习更新正确教育子女的水平和意识,促进学校教育教学改革,促进学生素质全面提升。

This parent committee meeting fully demonstrated the advisory, suggestive, and supervisory roles of parents in the school’s educational work. Through the meeting, coeducation between home and school was promoted, parents’ levels of learning and correct education of their children were continuously improved, school educational reforms were promoted, and students’ overall quality was enhanced.
