国际英文拼词大会作为中国地区规模和影响力极大的英语类非营利性活动，致力于把全球受欢迎的拼词展示模式引入到中国，组织中国各地区城市优秀的选手参加全国级别的比赛，并选拔优秀的选手赴海外参加洲际国际挑战赛，为中国的青少年提供一个国际化的英语赛事训练和比赛的教育平台。

Spelling Bee of China, as a non-profit English language event of great scale and influence in China, is committed to introducing the globally popular spelling demonstration model to China, organising the best players from various cities in China to participate in national level competitions, and selecting the best players to participate in the Intercontinental International Challenge Competition overseas, so as to provide an international English language training and competition educational platform for the young people in China. The programme is designed to provide an international educational platform for Chinese youth to train for and compete in English events.

现场拼词规则：

Live Spelling Rules：

在现场拼词中，发音官会随机给当轮选手，每人一个单词的发音，随后计时员将开始1分钟倒计时，选手需要在1分钟之内用口答的方式，拼出单词的每一个字母。拼对者晋级下一轮比赛，拼错或超时者将暂时进入淘汰席，等候结果。

注意，选手在作答时，

有权利向考官询问以下问题：

你能重复这个单词吗？

能够提供一个例句吗？

这个单词是什么意思？

单词的词性是？

In Live Spelling, the Pronouncer will randomly give each contestant a word to pronounce, then the Timer will start a 1-minute countdown, and the Speller will need to spell out each letter of the word within 1 minute using oral answers. Those who spell the word correctly will advance to the next round, while those who spell it incorrectly or exceed the time limit will be temporarily put into the elimination seat to wait for the result.

Note that the Speller has the right to ask the examiner the following questions when answering:

Can you repeat the word, please?

May I have the sentence, please?

May I have the definition, please?

May I know the part of speech？

3月23日，第九季SPBCN国际英文拼词大会合肥选区城市总决选战场的号角在合肥协和双语学校缪斯剧院吹响。来自合肥多所国际化学校上百名学生参与了本次拼词大会合肥区城市总决选。

On 23rd March, the horn of the 9th season of SPBCN Hefei Constituency City Final Battlefield was blown at the Muse Theatre of SUIS Hefei Campus. Hundreds of students from several bilingual schools in Hefei participated in the SPBCN.

 

经过现场激烈的角逐，

全国总决选的入场券，

在总共9个冠亚季军奖杯中🏆，

After a fierce competition on the spot, a number of students from our school successfully won the ticket to the national final, winning six of the total nine trophies for the first, second and third place! Congratulations to them! We are looking forward to their wonderful performance again at the National Finals, to win glory for SUIS-HF and to win even more glory for themselves!
