为创设良好的校园科技氛围,培养学生们的科学素养和创新精神，3月25日上午，合肥协和双语学校在缪斯剧院举办了以“学子探古今，智慧创新行”为主题的科创节开幕式活动。

In order to create a good atmosphere of science and technology on campus and cultivate students’ scientific literacy and innovative spirit, the opening ceremony of the Science and Innovation Festival was held in the Muse Theatre of our school on the morning of 25th March with the theme of ” Learners Explore the Past and Present, Starting a Wisdom and Innovative Journey”.

第四届校园科创节开幕

活动在庄重的升旗仪式中拉开帷幕，全体师生肃立，伴随着庄严的国歌，童声齐唱，五星红旗缓缓升起。

The event opened with a solemn flag-raising ceremony, in which all teachers and students stood at attention, accompanied by the solemn national anthem, children’s voices sang in unison, and the five-star red flag was slowly raised.

紧接着，一场科学盛宴在缪斯剧院上演。从彩色雪花的绚烂多姿到掌上火焰的刺激与神秘，再到空气炮与液氮大爆炸的震撼视觉效果，精彩的实验演示让科学的概念变得触手可及，让抽象的科学公式变成了有趣的现实。一连串的实验秀，不仅让在场的每一位师生为之惊叹，更激发了学生对科学世界的好奇心与探索欲。

Immediately afterwards, a scientific feast was staged at the Muse Theatre. From the splendour of colourful snowflakes to the excitement and mystery of palm flames, to the shocking visual effects of air cannons and liquid nitrogen explosions, the wonderful experimental demonstrations made the concepts of science accessible, and turned abstract scientific formulas into interesting realities. The series of experimental shows not only amazed every teacher and student present, but also stimulated students’ curiosity and desire to explore the world of science.

 

奇幻的科学秀之后，中国科学技术大学和中科大附属第一医院的双聘特任研究员，安徽省自然科学一等奖获得者陈亮博士，为孩子们带来了妙趣横生的科普讲座。陈亮博士以“认识健康的敌人与人类的武器”为题，深入浅出地向师生们讲解关于病毒的过去、现在与未来，并教会了孩子们如何科学预防各类疾病。

After the fantastic science show, Dr. Chen Liang, a double-appointed researcher from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and the First Hospital Affiliated to USTC, and winner of the first prize for natural science in Anhui Province, gave a fascinating science talk to the children. Under the title of “Understanding the Enemies of Health and the Weapons of Mankind”, Dr. Chen Liang explained the past, present and future

 

 

讲座结束后，合肥市包河区协和双语学校校长喻霞为陈亮博士颁发了科技副校长聘用证书，同时代表全体师生表达了对他的诚挚感谢。

After the lecture, Principal Ms. Wendy Yu of SUIS Hefei Campus, presented Dr. Chen Liang with a certificate of employment as Vice Principal of Science and Technology, and at the same time expressed her sincere thanks to him on behalf of all the teachers and students.

经历本次开幕式，协和的学子们将会以更饱满的热情与无尽的勇气，在未来的学习之旅中大展身手，用探究的精神与创新的思维不断攀登科学的高峰。

Experiencing this opening ceremony, SUIS-HF’s students will be more full of enthusiasm and endless courage to show their skills in the future learning journey, and continue to climb the peak of science with the spirit of inquiry and innovative thinking.
