合肥市包河区协和双语学校厚植绿色发展理念，节约资源，保护环境，积极开展以“绿色课程、绿色管理、绿色生活、绿色校园”为主题的绿色学校创建行动。学校先后被区、市评为2022年度、2023年度“绿色学校”。

SUIS Hefei plants the concept of green development, saves resources, protects the environment, and actively carries out the green school creation action with the theme of “green curriculum, green management, green life, green school”. Our school has been awarded “Green School” by the district and the city in 2022 and 2023.

学校开展学生生态文明教育渗透式教学，融入生态文明、绿色发展、资源节约、环境保护等相关知识，倡导简约适度、绿色低碳生活方式，鼓励学生从多角度认识和理解绿色发展理念。

Our school carry out penetrative teaching on ecological civilisation education for students, incorporating knowledge related to ecological civilisation, green development, resource conservation and environmental protection, advocating a simple and moderate, green and low-carbon lifestyle, and encouraging students to know and understand the concept of green development from multiple perspectives.

世界上有千般种颜色，绿色是最温柔的一种。学校优化校园内空间布局，提升校园绿化美化、清洁化水平，让校园“绿”得有气质，“美”得有内涵。

There are thousands of colours in the world, green is the most gentle one. Our school optimise the layout of space on campus, enhance campus greening and beautification, cleanliness level, so that the campus “green” with temperament, “beauty” with connotation.

Our school to orderly promote the green transformation and operation and maintenance of existing buildings, the establishment of a sound green operation and management system, “carbon” to ask for green energy, less “carbon” interest, in order to breathe freely ‍‍, to enhance the campus energy utilisation rate and level.

学校将绿色学校的创建融入校园文化建设，支持和引导师生组织参与多种形式的校内外绿色生活主题宣传，积极创建“无废校园”，让绿色教育常驻我心。

Our school integrates the creation of green schools into campus culture, supports and guides teachers and students to organise and participate in various forms of publicity on the theme of green living both inside and outside the school, and actively creates a “waste-free campus”, so as to make green education permanent in our hearts.
