The Chinese nation has always had the traditional virtue of “speaking in good faith”, Confucius’s Confucianism preaches “benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom and trust”, “Shi Ji” said: “A word is heavier than nine tripods”. For thousands of years integrity has been consciously believed and respected by the people. It is like a clear spring to make people’s hearts full of purity and confidence, so that society is full of sincerity and trust.
11月27日，P2B班全体同学承办了以“诚信”为主题的二年级美德集会。本次“诚信”主题的年级美德集会，人人都是参与者。孩子们站在舞台上，通过歌声、舞蹈、演讲等，演绎诚信故事，学习诚信的价值。
On 27th November, P2B hosted a P2 Virtues Assembly on the theme of ” Honesty”. Everyone was a participant in this ” Honesty” themed assembly of virtues for the grade. Our children stood on the stage and learnt about the value of integrity through singing, dancing and speaking.
二年级美德集会P2 Virtues Assembly一首《协和校园之歌》，娓娓拉开序幕，稚嫩的童声，回荡在每一个听众的心里，全场的大合唱，将每个协和学子的心紧紧的连在了一起。
A song “Xiehe Campus Song”, piquantly opened the prelude, tender children’s voices, echoed in the heart of every listener, the chorus, every SUIS Hefei student’s heart tightly linked together.
诚信作为一种普世价值，是不受国籍，性别，种族等因素限制。无论身处何处，人们都应秉持这种美德，诚实守信，言行一致。孩子们通过现场演绎英文绘本故事《I Promise》，旨在融合中西，以全球视野学习诚信美德。
Honesty, as a universal value, is not limited by nationality, gender, race or other factors. It is a virtue that should be upheld wherever one is in the world, with honesty, trustworthiness and consistency between words and deeds. The children’s rendition of the English picture book story “I Promise” aims to integrate the East and the West to learn about the virtue of integrity from a global perspective.

战国时期的商鞅，立木为信，在百姓心中树立起了威信，变法很快推广开来。P2B班家长们将精心编排的《立木为信》短剧搬上了舞台，把本次“诚信”美德集会推向了高潮。
During the Warring States period, Shang Yang, who set up a tree for trust, established his authority in the hearts of the people, and the change of law was soon popularised, and the short play “Setting Up A Tree For Trust”, choreographed by the parents of P2B class, was brought to the stage, which was the culmination of this ” Honesty” Virtues Rally.

At the end of the assembly Vice Principal Ms. Nina Zhang presented awards to the Star of Virtue for Honesty for the month of November.
