In order to understand the patriotic chapter better and to create a sense of honour among the students, the P3 group conducted a virtue assembly on the theme “Red Star Shines on My Heart – Patriotic Poem Recitation”.
在校合唱团的激昂歌声中，此次活动拉开了序幕，为整场活动奠定了积极向上的基调，孩子们的热情也被激发。
The event kicked off with a rousing song by the school choir, which set a positive tone for the whole event and fuelled the children’s enthusiasm.
接下来三年级同学代表为在座同学带来了真情饱满的演讲。P3B陈昱翔同学用坚定饱满的声音，向全场传递着《中国红》的大气，一字一句间尽显浪漫；P3D汪曼露同学紧贴亚运实事，一篇《亚运随想》，让我们感受到新时代少年对国之要事的关注。
Next, a representative of the P3 students gave a heartfelt speech to the students in the audience. P3B Alan Chen, with a firm and full voice, conveyed the atmosphere of “China Red” to the whole audience, showing the romance between every word and sentence; P3D Antti Wang, keeping in mind the actual events of the Asian Games, an article entitled “Reflections on the Asian Games”, letting us feel the attention of the new era of teenagers to the important events of the country.
此外，我们P3C的部分家长代表也为学生们带来了诗朗诵《信•中国》，一句句诗词，铿锵有力，震撼着少年们的心，家长们朗诵得声情并茂，学生们听得认真入迷。
In addition, some of our P3C parent representatives also presented a poem recitation “Trust in China”. The poems were powerful and shook the hearts of the youngsters. The parents recited the poems with great emotion and the students listened attentively and fascinated.

The atmosphere was brought to a climax when the head of P3 group, Ms. Fang, led the teachers and students to recite excerpts from “The Sayings of Young China”.

In order to recognise the students who have excelled so far in the school year, the “Star of Virtues” awards were presented in September and October, encouraging all students to be patriotic, courteous, responsible, and mission-driven primary school students!
