秋日已至,秋意正浓,在这秋高气爽的日子里,实践活动是一次美好的体验,也是一场诗意的修行。11月2日,合肥协和双语学校五年级学生来到青少年活动中心,走进“彩虹课堂”,老师们以传统工艺文化为出发点,带领学生走进四个工艺坊重温手工劳作,在彩虹课堂中见到“彩虹”,让我们一起来看看吧!
Autumn has arrived, and the autumn atmosphere is strong. On this bright and refreshing day, practical activities are a wonderful experience and a poetic practice. On November 2nd, P5 students from SUIS Hefei came to the Youth Activity Center and walked into the “Rainbow Classroom”. Starting from traditional craft culture, the teachers led the students into four craft workshops to relive manual labor. In the Rainbow Classroom, they saw the “Rainbow”. Let’s take a look together!
农艺工坊 
Agronomic Workshop
同学们走进“农艺工坊”,这里的老师介绍了农艺工具、谷物、二十四节气,其中“石碾子”“舂米机”吸引了同学们的目光,接着老师带领同学们走进“炫彩草木染”,大家在了解它的起源、发展、方法后,准备起了一个固定器,一块洁白的纺布,一副手套,两根皮筋,一番“扎”“染”之后,一块块精美草木染手绢出炉了,同学无不惊叹非遗文化的博大精深。
The students walked into the “Agricultural Workshop”, where the teacher introduced agricultural tools, grains, and the 24 solar terms. Among them, the “stone mill” and “rice husking machine” attracted the students’ attention. Then, the teacher led the students into the “Colorful Grass and Wood Dyeing”. After understanding its origin, development, and methods, everyone prepared relevant materials, including a fixator, a piece of clean white spinning cloth, a pair of gloves, two rubber bands, and after a series of “tying” and “dyeing”, exquisite grass and wood dyed handkerchiefs were produced one by one. Students were all amazed by the breadth and depth of non relic culture.

陶艺工坊 
Pottery Workshop
陶艺课是一门寓教于乐的课程。孩子们不仅亲手制作了陶艺,还深入了解了陶艺的历史。制作陶艺前,老师先向孩子们介绍了中国陶艺发展的历史,从“唐三彩”,“汝官哥定钧”五大名窑,到青花瓷,明斗彩和现代匠人的陶瓷艺术,孩子们进行了一次文化历史的旅程。
The pottery class is a fun and educational course. Today, the children not only made pottery with their own hands, but also learnt more about the history of pottery. Before making pottery, the teacher first introduced the children to the history of the development of Chinese pottery, from the “Tang Three Colours”, the “Ru Guan Ge Ding Jun” five famous kilns, to the blue and white porcelain, the Ming Doucai and the pottery art of the modern craftsmen, the children have made a journey through the history of culture.
接着,孩子们体验陶土拉胚,在 “玩泥巴”的过程中体验陶艺的制作,这也是一场与泥土的对话。活动激发了孩子们的学习兴趣,培养其艺术修养。
Then, the children experienced the process of pulling the clay, experiencing the production of pottery in the process of “playing with clay”, which is also a dialogue with the clay. The activity stimulated the children’s interest in learning and cultivated their artistic skills.

铁艺工坊
Iron Art Workshop
铁艺,称为铁艺术,有着悠久的历史,传统的铁艺主要运用于建筑、家居、园林的装饰。同学们通过亲手制作发簪,体验铁艺文化。一件件看似平凡的金属,经过同学们灵慧的巧手,把坚硬的钢铁变成富有艺术创意的作品,既有发簪的柔美灵巧,又有钢铁的韧性耐用,堪称“铁骨柔情”。在此次活动中,同学们坚定了文化自信,点亮了火炬精神。
Tie Yi, known as iron art, has a long history and is traditionally used in the decoration of buildings, homes and gardens. Students experienced the culture of iron art by making hairpins with their own hands. A piece of seemingly ordinary metal, through the clever hands of the students, the hard steel into a creative work of art, not only the hairpin’s soft dexterity, but also the toughness and durability of steel, which can be called “gentle feelings of irony and courage”. In this activity, the students strengthened their cultural confidence and lit up the torch spirit.

木艺工坊
Woodcraft Workshop
木头原本是有生命的物体,但我们的先民们就地取材,因材施艺,创造出了许多精美的木雕艺术品。同学们来到木工坊 ,老师分别从生活中的木艺、榫卯结构、木艺传承和常见的木质特点向学生介绍木文化,学生活动开始前,老师详细讲解木艺构图、设计、操作等工序的创作过程,手把手教授细节要领,鼓励大家积极创作。
Wood was originally a living object, but our forefathers created many beautiful wood carvings from local materials. Students came to the carpentry workshop , the teacher respectively from the life of wood art, mortise and tenon structure, wood art heritage and common wood features to introduce the students to the wood culture, students before the start of the activity, the teacher explained in detail wood art composition, design, operation and other procedures of the creative process, hand in hand to teach the details of the essentials, to encourage everyone to actively create.
孩子们在认真听完艺术技巧和操作流程讲解后,跃跃欲试,纷纷开始,经过尝试画图设计,切割打磨等实际操作,做出了一件件精巧的木艺作品,体验到木艺创作带来的乐趣。
After listening attentively to the art skills and operation process explanation, the children were eager to try, have started, after trying to draw the design, cutting and polishing and other practical operations, made a piece of exquisite wood art works, experience the fun of wood art creation.
在本次实践活动中,每个工艺坊倾情演绎了以劳树德、以劳增智、以劳强体、以劳育美、以劳创新的万千气象。学生在劳动创造中发现美、体验美、鉴赏美、创造美!让工匠精神扎根于每一个学生心间,让学生带着时光和情感的温度,感受传统工艺之美!
In this practical activity, each workshop poured out the thousands of images of nurturing morality through labour, increasing intelligence through labour, strengthening the body through labour, cultivating beauty through labour, and innovating through labour. Students discover beauty, experience beauty, appreciate beauty and create beauty in labour creation! Let the spirit of craftsmanship take root in the heart of every student, so that students can feel the beauty of traditional craftsmanship with the temperature of time and emotion!
