2023年10月21日下午，合肥市包河区协和双语学校高中部荣幸迎接了沪上的贵客——上海外国语大学立泰学院剑桥国际中心。这一次，我们以“篮球”为媒介，彰显了协和少年的风采。
On the afternoon of October 21, 2023, the high school department of SUIS Hefei was honored to welcome distinguished guests from Shanghai—Cambridge International Center at Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) Lide College. This time, we used “basketball” as a medium to showcase the charm of the young talents from Xiehe.
一球一旗帜 One Ball, One Banner
我们以篮球结缘，以友谊为先。在比赛开始前，协和高中部热情地欢迎了远道而来的朋友。两支篮球队的年轻队员们用精心准备的礼物表达了彼此的友好。
We bonded through basketball, placing friendship above all. Before the game began, the high school department of SUIS Hefei warmly welcomed friends who traveled from afar. Young players from both basketball teams exchanged carefully prepared gifts, expressing mutual goodwill.
英勇的少年时 Brave Youthful Moments
协和高中部篮球队队长徐同学，在比赛前不慎扭伤了脚踝。当所有队员都认为队长无法参赛时，徐同学却英勇回归，与队员们一同征战。
Student Xu, captain of the basketball team at high school department of SUIS Hefei, accidentally sprained his ankle before the game. When all players thought the captain couldn’t play, Student Xu bravely returned, fighting alongside his teammates.
来自上外立泰的年轻队员们经过长途跋涉而来，但一触球场，疲惫瞬间消散。因为年轻人的热情不容许任何疲惫存在。
Young players from SISU Lide College traveled a long distance, but the fatigue instantly dissipated upon stepping onto the court. The enthusiasm of these young individuals left no room for weariness.
青春的正能量 Positive Energy of Youth
运球、突破，这是年轻人的速度！
跳投、三分，这是年轻人的专注！
摔倒、爬起，这是年轻人的坚韧！
落后、反超，这是年轻人的不屈！
As the game began, players from both sides freely ran on the court.
Dribbling, breakthroughs—this is the speed of youth!

最终，在协和高中部篮球队占据主场优势的情况下，微弱地获胜。我们看到年轻队员们脸上略显稚嫩的表情中，既有胜利的欢喜，也有失利的遗憾，更有永不言败的斗志。
In the end, with the home-court advantage, the host basketball team secured a narrow victory. On the slightly tender faces of the young players, we saw the joy of victory, the regret of defeat, and above all, the unwavering spirit of never giving up.
当比赛结束的哨声响起时，这些交织在一起的情感，在协和篮球馆上空，谱写出了最绚丽的少年乐章。
When the final whistle sounded, these intertwined emotions, in the airspace of Xiehe’s basketball arena, composed the most splendid symphony of youth.
