恰同学少年，风华正茂；逞飒爽英姿，青春激扬。合肥市包河区协和双语学校于2023年10月24日上午隆重举行了第三届田径运动会暨运动大会开幕式。协和人将用热情演绎一场穿越时空的秋日乐宴，宏大国风主题尽显华夏传统文化底蕴。
The youngsters are in the prime of their lives; the youngsters are valiant and youthful. SUIS Hefei held the Opening Ceremony of 3rd Athletic Meet and the Sports Assembly in the morning of 24th October 2023 in a grand manner. SUIS Hefei students will enthusiastically perform a time-travelling autumn feast, with a grand national style theme showing the traditional cultural heritage of China.
看，鲜艳的五星红旗在前面引路！
听，激越的《义勇军进行曲》在校园回荡！
伴着时代的鼓点——
五星红旗率领着仪仗队走进了田径场。
国旗是炎黄子孙的尊严，
是我们心中不灭的火炬。
Look, the bright five-star red flag
is leading the way!
Listen to the stirring “March of the Volunteers”
echoing through the campus!
Accompanied by the drum beat of the times,
the five-star red flag led the guard of
honour into the track and field.
The national flag is the dignity of the children
of the Yellow Emperor and the indestructible
torch in our hearts.
在国旗的引导下校旗迎风飘扬，
象征我校体育工作蒸蒸日上。
“我是协和人，我为协和添光彩”，
校旗永远升腾在每一个协和人的心中。
Under the guidance of the national flag,
the school flag is fluttering in the wind,
symbolising the prosperous development
of our sports work.
“I am a member of Xiehe,
I add honour to Xiehe”,
the school flag will always rise in the
heart of every member of Xiehe.
雄赳赳，气昂昂的会徽队闪亮登场，
本次运动会会徽设计者是S8A的房雨嘉同学。
会徽中心由协和英文简称”SUIS”
四个字母组成一个短跑冲线姿势的人，
寓意本次运动会所有选手都能赛出水平！
会徽由红、黄、蓝三原色构成，
它们可以合成多种不同的颜色,
寓意参加此次运动会各个项目的选手,
可以碰撞出不一样的火花,
享受比赛,感受运动会的多姿多彩!
The emblem team made their debut
in a majestic manner.
The emblem was designed by S8A Emily Fang.
The centre of the emblem consists of the
four letters of the English abbreviation “SUIS”,
forming a sprinter in a sprinting position,
which implies that all the athletes in the
Games will be able to compete at a high level!
The emblem is made up of three primary colours:
red, yellow and blue,
which can be combined into
many different colours,
implying that participants in the various sports
can create different sparks,
enjoy the competition and feel
the colourfulness of the Games!

hand-held dan xia satin umbrella,
reflected in the shoulders of the
shoulder embroidered cloud shoulders,
soft and beautiful in the
implied vigorous vitality.
Spread out the scroll of history,
the exhibition of the great
Tang Dynasty intoxicating heartstrings;
dial the age of a thousand years,
up and down the search for tireless.
The mountains are the story of water,
the sea is the story of sails,

庄严的升旗仪式结束后，
校长喻霞献上了本次运动会的开幕致辞
“校园盛事师生共聚，深秋艳阳温暖人心。
长安三万里，奋进新时代，
汲唐之诗情、山水情、家国情，
铸吾之民族魂。
入场式行进队列是文化的饕餮，
是我校五育融合的典范，
尽展协和人自信豪迈，
尽显我校气象万千、恢弘气概！”
After the solemn flag-raising ceremony,
our Principal Ms. Wendy Yu presented
the opening speech of the Games,
“Campus events, teachers and students together,
the bright sun in late autumn warms the heart.
Chang’an 30,000 miles,
into the new era, draw Tang poetry,
landscape, family and country,
cast our national soul.
The entrance marching formation
is a cultural feast,
a model of the integration of the
five educations of our school,
showing the confidence and boldness of
the people of Xiehe and our school’s
meteorological and grandeur!”
紧接着裁判员代表和运动员代表
进行了庄严宣誓，
严格遵守竞赛规则、公平、公正、
圆满完成各项赛事。
Immediately after the referee representatives
and athlete representatives made a solemn oath
to strictly abide by the rules of the competition,
fairness, impartiality and successful
completion of the events.

the secondary school section’s
dragon dance performance showed the

In the year,
the drums were beating loudly;
the P1 elves conveyed the rhythm and
tension of life with their lovely dances.

The colourful fans were floating
and had a long rhythm;
P4, P5 and P6 students danced around,
showing the extraordinary charm of
traditional Chinese dance art.
