云天收夏色，木叶动秋声。春华秋实，硕果飘香，青春追梦，接力辉煌。9月1日上午，合肥市包河区协和双语学校全体师生齐聚操场，举行了以“心怀梦想，扬帆起航——我们都是追梦人”为主题的秋季开学典礼。The cloudy sky receives the colours of summer, and the leaves of the wood move with the sounds of autumn. Spring and autumn, fruitful and fragrant. Teenagers chasing their dreams and relaying past glories. On the morning of September 1st, all the students and teachers of SUIS HF gathered in the playground and held the autumn opening ceremony with the theme of “Sail away with a dream in your heart — We are all Dream Chasers”.
清晨的协和校园迎来了向阳而生的少年们，一张张青春洋溢的脸庞沐浴着灿烂的秋阳，带着憧憬，怀着期盼，他们踏进了校园。红毯两侧，四位校长身着正装，带领迎新的教师团队欢迎孩子们的到来。在行政楼大厅，学生乐队为大家献上了动感的欢迎仪式。Early in the morning, SUIS Hefei Campus welcomed the youngsters who were born to the sun. With their youthful faces bathed in the brilliant autumn sun, they stepped into the campus with longing and expectation. On both sides of the red carpet, four principles dressed in formal attire led the welcoming team of teachers to welcome the children. In the lobby of the administration building, the student band presented a dynamic welcome ceremony.
来到班级，一年级的班主任特意为同学们佩戴小红花，希望孩子们在人生的新阶段能勤奋学习、努力进取。When they came to their classes, the P1 teachers made a point of wearing little red flowers for the students, hoping that the children would study hard and work hard in this new stage of their lives.
庄严升国旗，热情唱国歌。全体协和师生以梦想之名，书写爱国情怀，礼赞万里河山。The national flag was solemnly raised and the national anthem was enthusiastically sung. Led by a total of 20 freshmen representatives from Primary, Secondary and High School Sections, the SUIS HF students, with resolute gazes and clenched fists in their hands, let out a resounding shout——I swear under the national flag: I will have a heart for the motherland, have high aspirations, be down-to-earth, study hard, sharpen my character, grow my skills, and strive to grow up to be a good young man of SUIS HF with a Chinese sentiment and an international outlook!
优秀毕业生张理以优异的成绩考入了合肥一中，他用线上的形式为同学们送来了新学期的祝福。他总结了三年来在协和的收获，同时勉励同学们努力学习，不断提升自己。Outstanding graduate Charlie Zhang, who entered Hefei No.1 High School with excellent results, sent his blessings for the new semester to the students in the form of an online message. He summarised the gains he had made in the past three years in SUIS HF, and at the same time encouraged the students to study hard and improve themselves.
P1A丁正沛妈妈作为新生家长代表发言。她相信，孩子在协和这个和谐温馨的大家庭里，一定可以茁壮成长，同时希望孩子们能学习好科学文化知识，养成良好的行为习惯，做一个对社会有用的人。P1A Daniel Ding’s mother spoke as a parent representative of the new students. She believes that the children can grow up strongly in this harmonious and warm family of SUIS HF, and hopes that they can learn good scientific and cultural knowledge, develop good behavioural habits and be useful to the society.最后，喻霞校长进行了新学期致辞。喻校从日本政府单方面启动福岛核污染水排海事件引入，呼吁协和学子将个人命运与国际命运紧密连接，树立人类命运共同体意识，一起守护未来、守护大海，守护地球。同时，喻校还谈到最近火热的国产动漫《长安三万里》，感动于在那个繁盛的时代，诗人们心怀家国和天下，肩负黎明苍生之责任，也殷切地期望孩子们能厚植传统文化的同时给自己赋能，坚定执着，实现梦想。最后，喻校希望协和学子们乘上科技的翅膀，在数字化信息时代培育不被人工智能所取代的能力，仰望星空，脚踏实地，在实现梦想的道路上与彼此相逢！Finally, Principal Wendy Yu gave a speech for the new semester. Introducing the incident of the Japanese government unilaterally initiating the discharge of Fukushima’s nuclear contaminated water into the sea, Principal Wendy Yu called on SUIS HF students to closely connect their personal destiny with the international destiny, to build up a sense of the community of human destiny, and to work together to safeguard the future, the sea, and the earth. At the same time, Principal Wendy Yu also talked about the recent hot domestic animation “Chang An”, touched by that prosperous era, poets heart of the country and the world, shoulder the responsibility of the dawn of the people, but also earnestly hope that the children can be planted in the traditional culture and at the same time empower themselves to be firm and persistent, to realise their dreams. Lastly, Principal Wendy Yu hoped that SUIS HF students would ride on the wings of science and technology, cultivate the ability not to be replaced by AI locks in the digital information age, look up to the stars, keep their feet on the ground, and meet with each other on the road to realising their dreams!开学典礼结束后，一年级的萌娃们回到教室，完成了本班专属定制的手指画。大树象征着孩子们在协和不断茁壮成长，他们用绚丽多彩的颜色装点着即将开启的小学新篇章。After the opening ceremony, the P1 children returned to their classrooms to complete their class-specific customised finger paintings. The big tree symbolised the children’s continuous growth in SUIS HF, and they decorated the new chapter of primary school section they were about to start with colourful colours.强国之路，复兴有我，梦想未竟，征衣不解。风物正好，且歌且行。征程万里风正劲，重任千钧再出发。合肥协和全体师生将挥毫未来，踔厉奋发，心怀梦想，扬帆起航，一起做新时代的追梦人！We hold on to our dreams of reviving our country and we will never give up until it’s done. The scenery of future is wonderful, so let’s sing and walk. We face the strong wind and carry the responsibilities in the journey and set out again. All the students and teachers of SUIS HF will head towards the future, excel and set sail with dreams in their hearts, and let’s be the dreamers of the new era together!
