岁月流转,季节交替,亘古不变的是协和教师兢兢业业的工作态度。绿荷舒卷凉风晓,红萼开萦紫莳重,新一批的协和学子即将迎来他们的开学季。

As the years go by and the seasons change, what remains unchanged is the dedicated working attitude of Xiehe’s teachers. The green lotus scrolls in the cool breeze, the red calyx blossoms and the purple dill weighs heavily, and a new batch of SUIS HF students are about to usher in their school opening season.

 

为了让新一年级的孩子们更了解即将开启的小学旅程,满足孩子们对新学期的好奇心,与年轻化家长交流教育理念,新一年级的老师们在精心准备下开始了暑期的家访之旅。为新生家庭普及教育和关爱,缓解焦虑与不安。

In order to let the new first graders know more about their upcoming journey to primary school, to satisfy their curiosity about the new term, and to exchange educational concepts with the rejuvenated parents, the teachers of the new first graders started their summer home visit journey with careful preparation. To popularise education and care for the new families and to relieve anxiety and restlessness.

 

怀着蓝色海洋般激情澎湃的心情,各位老师走进了新生家中,奔向可爱的孩子们,送上了新生录取通知书和刻有协和标识的小礼物。

With the passionate feelings like the blue ocean, the teachers went into the homes of the new students, ran to the lovely children, and delivered the acceptance letters of the new students and the small gifts engraved with the logo of SUIS HF.

通过与父母的沟通与交流,老师们初步了解到孩子们的兴趣爱好,个性特点。他们有的酷爱运动,精力充沛,浑身散发着欣喜与雀跃;有的沉迷画画,用自己的画笔描绘生活的多姿多彩;还有的执着音乐,用音乐张扬出自己的天性。但无一例外,都对新学期新生活充满了期待。他们不停地询问着老师“我们的班级在哪里?有多少同学?开学后会上哪些课程?可以坐校车吗?”等等问题,充分表达出自己对协和的喜爱以及迫不及待地希望开学的愿望。

Through communication and exchange with parents, teachers initially learnt about the children’s hobbies, interests and personality traits. Some of them love sports and are full of energy, exuding joy and excitement; some of them are addicted to drawing and painting, using their own brushes to depict the colourful life; and some of them are obsessed with music, using music to promote their own nature. But all of them are full of expectations for the new term and new life. They kept asking their teachers, “Where is our class? How many students are there? What classes will we have when school starts? Can I take the school bus?” etc. They fully expressed their love for SUIS HF and their desire to start the school year.

父母对孩子的爱是无私的,充满着期待的。作为教育者,我们感同身受,通过多年的教育教学工作强化了自身的共情能力。当接到个别孩童送给老师的那张充满着爱心的画,并与父母一起写着‘老师我爱您’的文字,无声的感动化作泪珠充盈着眼眶。爱无声,如春雨般滋润心田。通过深入的沟通,我们与家长在教育理念上也达成初步共识。

Parents’ love for their children is selfless and full of expectations. As educators, we empathise with this and have strengthened our empathy through years of teaching and learning. When we receive a picture full of love from a child to a teacher, and write the words ‘Teacher, I love you’ together with the parents, the silent emotion turns into teardrops and fills our eyes. Love is silent and nourishes the heart like spring rain. Through in-depth communication, we also reached a preliminary consensus with parents on the concept of education.

 

一幅幅温馨的画面,盈满笑意与爱意,充满了孩子们对一年级的向往、兴奋和喜悦。正如苏姆霍林斯基说过“爱,首先意味着奉献,意味着把自己心灵的力量献给所爱的人,为所爱的人创造幸福”。教育工作者,因为热爱,所以坚持;父母家人,因为关爱,所以无私。我们爱的目标一致,所以在家校共育的道路上,学校与家长,家长与老师定会携手并进,助力孩子实现梦想。

A warm picture, full of smiles and love, filled with the children’s desire, excitement and joy for the first grade. As Sumholinsky said, “Love, first of all, means dedication, which means dedicating the power of one’s heart to the beloved and creating happiness for the beloved”. Educators are persistent because they love; parents and family members are selfless because they care. The goal of our love is the same, so on the road of home-school co-education, schools and parents, parents and teachers will work hand in hand to help children realise their dreams.
