关爱天使 “益”起行动 Practical Activities of the Brigade Department
为增强协和学子感恩意识和社会责任感，有效带动全社会营造良好的关爱氛围，积极弘扬“奉献、友爱、互助、进步”的志愿服务精神，合肥市包河区协和双语学校大队部“缤纷假日”红领巾假日小队于2023年8月7日走进蜀山区春语儿童康复中心进行暑期实践活动。
In order to enhance the SUIS HF students’ sense of gratitude and social responsibility, effectively drive the whole society to create a good caring atmosphere, and actively carry forward the “dedication, fraternity, mutual help, progress” spirit of volunteer service, SUIS HF brigade department “colourful holiday” Red Scarf Holiday Squad went into the Shushan District Chunyu Children’s Rehabilitation Centre on August 7th, 2023 to carry out the summer practice activities.
夏日，是阳光明媚、热情洋溢的季节，在这个美好的季节里，合肥协和小学部陈主任、孟老师与优秀少先队员及家长们共同组织了一场“关爱星星的孩子、走近特殊儿童生活”的实践活动，为“星星宝宝”送去温暖和关怀。
Summer is a season of bright sunshine and enthusiasm. In this wonderful season, Director Mr. Chen and Teacher Ms. Meng of SUIS HF Primary School Section, together with outstanding Young Pioneers and parents, organised a practical activity of “Caring for Star Children, Approaching the Life of Children with Special Needs”, to send warmth and care to the “Star Babies”.
8月7日，优秀少先队员代表们怀着激动且紧张的心情走进了春语儿童康复中心。
On 7th August, the representatives of the outstanding young pioneers entered the Chunyu Children’s Rehabilitation Centre with excitement and nervousness.
首先，协和学子们了解了春语学生的生活日常、上课方式等。在了解过程中，大家心理感慨万千，既有对春语学生的心疼，也有对自己的满足，还有对春语老师深深的敬佩。陈主任倡导少先队员们应该珍惜当下，并呼吁和鼓励我们尽最大可能帮助需要帮助的特殊人群。
First of all, SUIS HF students got to know the daily life of Chunyu students, the way of classes and so on. In the process of understanding, we had a lot of mental feelings, both heartache for the Chunyu students and satisfaction for ourselves, as well as deep admiration for the Chunyu teachers. Director Mr. Chen advocated that the pioneers should cherish the present moment and appealed to encourage us to do our best to help the special people in need.
协和家长志愿者们根据春语的实际需求，用大家募集的善款为春语儿童购买了打印纸、文件夹、洗漱用品等学习和生活用品。当天，大家一起将物资捐赠给春语儿童康复中心，尽自己的一些绵薄之力。
Based on the actual needs of Chunyu, SUIS HF parent volunteers used the money they collected to buy printing paper, folders, toiletries and other school and living supplies for Chunyu children. On that day, we donated the supplies to the Chunyu Rehabilitation Centre to do our bit.
接下来，协和学子们与春语的小朋友们进行了互动。他们一起唱歌、跳舞、画画、背古诗和做游戏，通过活动帮助孩子们树立更加积极的心态。协和的优秀少先队员们不只为春语的小朋友送来了才艺，还将自己喜爱的玩具、零食送给春语的儿童，他们一起度过了非常快乐的时光。
Next, the SUIS HF students interacted with the children from Chunyu. They sang, danced, drew, recited poems and played games together, helping the children develop a more positive mindset through the activities. The outstanding young pioneers of SUIS HF not only sent their talents to the children of Spring Language, but also gave their favourite toys and snacks to the children of Chunyu, and they had a very happy time together.
这个夏日，我们希望通过此次关爱特殊儿童的活动，让他们感受到爱和关怀。我们相信，每一个孩子都是独特而宝贵的，无论他们的身体状况如何，他们都值得被理解、被尊重和被包容、被关爱。通过这个活动，我们希望让更多人关注特殊儿童，并为他们提供更多的机会和爱。
This summer, we hope to make special children feel loved and cared for through this activity of caring for them. We believe that every child is unique and valuable, no matter what their physical condition is, they all deserve to be understood, respected and tolerated and cared for. Through this event, we hope to bring more attention to special children and provide them with more opportunities and love.

Students, teachers and parents of SUIS HF Colourful Holiday Squad brought laughter and warmth to the special children of Chunyu and hoped to let the summer sunshine shine on the bright future of every Chunyu baby!
