党的二十大指出：“必须牢固树立和践行绿水青山就是金山银山的理念，站在人与自然和谐共生的高度谋发展”这意味着环保不只是一句口号而是一种习惯。

The 20th Party Congress pointed out that “we must firmly establish and practise the concept that green water and green mountains are the silver mountain of gold, and seek development at a high level of harmony between man and nature”.

SUIS HF Green Week 

为了进一步提高我校全体师生的环境保护意识，弘扬生态文化，积极开展绿色学校创建工作，引导和培养学生树立良好的环保意识，合肥市包河区协和双语学校在4月17日至4月24日开展了“绿色环保周”主题活动。

In order to further raise the awareness of environmental protection among all teachers and students in our school, promote ecological culture, actively carry out the work of creating a green school, and guide and train students to establish a good awareness of environmental protection, SUIS HF carried out “Green Week” thematic activities from April 17th to April 24th.

PART.01

环保回收箱 

Eco-friendly Recycling Bins

节能我响应。协和双语学校小学部每班利用周末的时间，自己动手制作了精美的“环保回收箱”用来回收班级里的闲置塑料用品。让同学们明白环保要从自身做起，从小事做起，自觉养成环保的好习惯，做好垃圾分类，争做绿色低碳传播者。

Energy saving is my response. Each class in the Primary School Section of SUIS HF spent the weekend making their own ‘environmental recycling bins’ to collect unused plastic items from the classroom. Students were made to understand that environmental protection starts from themselves and the little things they do, so that they can develop good habits of environmental protection, sort their rubbish and be green and low-carbon spokespersons.

变废为宝

Turning Waste Into Treasure

加强生态文明教育，厚植环保理念。一年级的同学们在美术蔡老师的带领下，从家里自带材料，利用美术课的时间，把一件件闲置废旧物品进行大变身大改造，创作出了姿态万千的琉璃灯作品。同学们体验到了在玩中学、学中做，提升实践能力的同时，也能够从生活中发现美、创造美。

Strengthen the education of ecological civilization and cultivate the concept of environmental protection. Under the leadership of Mr. Cai, P1 students brought their own materials from home and used the art class time to transform and transform a piece of unused waste items to create a variety of glazed lamp works. The students experienced learning through play and doing through learning, enhancing their practical skills while being able to discover and create beauty from life.

PART.03

熄灯1小时

1 Hour Lights Out

4月22日晚7点，协和双语二年级的每组家庭在同一时间进入了“节能模式”。大家关闭不必要的电灯及耗电产品一小时做一些有意义的事，以此来唤起大家对地球环保的责任感。千里之行，始于足下，简单举动的持续践行终将带来更深更广的影响。

At 7pm on 22 April, each group of P2 families at SUIS HF entered ‘energy saving mode’ at the same time. Everyone turned off unnecessary lights and power-consuming products for an hour to do something meaningful to raise awareness of our responsibility to the environment. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and the continued practice of a simple act will eventually have a deeper and wider impact.

环保标语立牌

Environmental Slogan Stand-up Sign

三、四年级同学在美术组老师的带领下，制作了以爱护小草为主题的“环保标语立牌”。本次制作环保标语牌的成功开展唤起了协和学子们爱绿、护绿、添绿的意识，让爱护自然，保护环境的意识深值于心，实践于行。

P3 and P4 students, under the leadership of their art team teachers, made “environmental protection placards” with the theme of caring for grass. The successful production of the environmental protection slogan sign has aroused the awareness of the students of SUIS HF to love, protect and add to the greenery, so that the awareness of caring for nature and protecting the environment is deeply valued in the heart and practised in action.

“亲近大自然”调查行动

“Close to Nature” investigation

五、六年级的同学利用科学、班会课以小组为单位，制作了有关环保的调查问卷，并利用周末的时间前往公园和商场，对路人进行采访。通过此次活动同学们进一步的学习了环保和节约资源的知识、并作调查分析，携手共做低碳节能生活的倡导者、传播者和践行者。

P5 and P6 students used their science and class sessions to create questionnaires on environmental protection in small groups and spent the weekend going to parks and shopping malls to interview passers-by. Through this activity, students learned more about environmental protection and resource conservation, and conducted surveys and analyses, working together to be advocates, spreaders and practitioners of low-carbon and energy-saving living.

低碳环保小建议

Low-carbon Tips

传递绿色低碳理念，争做节能环保先锋。初中部的同学们自制表格，征集对于学校环保的意见和建议，掌握基本环保、节能知识和有关的环境法律法规常识，参与保护和改善环境和资源节约的实践活动，从身边的小事做起，唤醒同学们对环境保护和资源节约的责任感和使命感。

Passing on the concept of green and low-carbon, striving to be pioneers in energy conservation and environmental protection. SUIS HF Students of the Secondary School Section made their own forms to collect opinions and suggestions on environmental protection in school, to acquire basic knowledge of environmental protection, energy conservation and relevant environmental laws and regulations, to participate in practical activities to protect and improve the environment and conserve resources, and to start with the small things around them to awaken their sense of responsibility and mission for environmental protection and resource conservation.

环保小卫士

Little Environmental Guardians

4月21日星期五，协和双语大队部以“保护环境”为行动核心，开展主题队会，学习环保知识，增强生态道德观念，提高生态文明素养。并组织小督导们带上垃圾袋和手套，在校园里边走边捡，进一步优化、美化我们的校园环境，更好的督促同学们的环保行为。

On Friday, 21 April, the SUIS HF Brigade took the theme of “Protecting the Environment” as the core of its actions and held a team meeting to learn about environmental protection, enhance the concept of ecological ethics and improve ecological civilisation. We also organised our junior supervisors to bring along rubbish bags and gloves to pick up trash as they walked around the campus to further optimise and beautify our campus

environment and to better supervise our students’ environmental behaviour.

21世纪是一个“绿色”世纪，作为祖国未来的建设者和接班人，协和学子更应该在这个环保时代下从小树立信念，承担起保护环境的重任。在未来协和师生将继续携手同行，共同守护绿色环保的美丽家园。

The 21st century is a “green” century, and as the future builders and successors of our country, students at SUIS HF should build up their beliefs and take up the important responsibility of protecting the environment in this environmental era. In the future, students and teachers at SUIS HF will continue to work together to protect our beautiful green home.
