AMC澳大利亚数学竞赛是全球超大规模的校际数学思维挑战活动，具有40余年历史，总计32个国家1600万名学生参与，由国际权威学术机构澳大利亚数学联合会（AMT）举办。AMT由澳大利亚著名数学家Peter O’Halloran发起创办，旨在丰富各个阶段学生的数学教育内容，提供更前沿的数学思想、理论动态和教育资源，其新颖的题型和多语言试题让全球的数学受好者们得以在数学领域深刻切磋，共同学习，并深刻认识数学在生活中的重要性。
The AMC Australian Mathematics Competition is the world’s largest inter-school mathematical thinking challenge, with a history of over 40 years and 16 million students in 32 countries, organised by the Australian Mathematical Consortium (AMT), an international academic authority. The AMT is designed to enrich the mathematical education of students at all levels by providing more cutting-edge mathematical ideas, theoretical developments and educational resources, and its innovative and multilingual questions allow mathematics enthusiasts from around the world to engage in profound discussions, learn together and gain a deep understanding of the importance of mathematics in their lives.

【中国区奖项】China Awards● 卓越奖(Prize)：A – E级别排名前0.3%Prize of Excellence (Prize): Top 0.3% at A – E level● 一等奖(High Distinction)：A – D级别排名前3% / E级别排名前5%
First Prize (High Distinction): Top 3% at A – D level / Top 5% at E level
● 二等奖(Distinction)：A-D 级别排名前 20% / E 级别排名前 25%
Second Prize (Distinction): Top 20% at A-D / Top 25% at E
● 三等奖(Credit)：A-D 级别排名前 55% / E 级别排名前 60%
Third Prize (Credit): Top 55% at A-D / Top 60% at E
● 数学技能奖(Proficiency)：总分超过既定分数线但没有获得优秀奖的同学

合肥协和学子在本次比赛中成绩亮眼，以满分成绩获得一项全球成就奖，一项全国卓越奖，四项全国一等奖，以及其它86个奖项。
SUIS HF students shone in the competition, winning one Global Achievement Award, one National Excellence Award, four National First Prizes, and 86 other awards with perfect scores.
通过参加澳大利亚数学竞赛此类国际性赛事，学生不仅能检测自己的数学知识在全球同龄人当中的水平，并以此来激励自己。此外，优异的竞赛成绩在今后申请世界名校时也会成为优势和亮点，增强进击世界名校的“软实力”。
By participating in international competitions such as the Australian Mathematics Competition, students can not only test their mathematical knowledge against their peers around the world and be motivated by it, but their excellent results can also be an advantage and a highlight when applying to top universities around the world, enhancing their ‘soft power’ to get into top schools around the world.
